just mean it's easy for non-americans to judgementally look [down] at the complexities of the u.s.' situation and act holier than thou...
when fact is there isn't a "western" country that is not just complicit but is not also actively abetting of the globalized capital system that, i believe ultimately, drives some of the more egregious violations of human and other countries rights that the u.s. sometimes leads.
ie. "we, the people" ain't a bordered thing when we all purchase chinese shIt [and this flippant short hand should not be confused to say that all chinese product is shIt...] which is funded by american financing [as one example].
and so we all have influence in our own realms... however granular. and so both in that granularity and in the consequent aggregate, the resulting systems [both national and international] are ultimately a result of the individual decisions that are being made.
regardless of whether we are american or not.
