Over a few benefit shindigs at Todd's I got to hang with Robert a few times. I did not know him well but I was so touched by his kindness and kinship. He was there using his skills to make sure the Gordon house was up to electrical snuff. It was a shock when I heard he had crossed over. He was one of those people you meet. and you hope in the future, that you get to share a few camp fires with.

MtnMun,
Thank you for your kind words. Reading you post brought tears to my eyes. You captured Robert so well. Under that rough exterior, and often foul language was a truly kind, generous, and caring man that I was fortunate to cross "virtual" paths with over 17 years ago.
We had 16 years together, and in such a relatively short time experienced more ups and downs, challenges, happiness and illness than most people do in a lifetime. Robert truly was one of a kind that touched so many peoples lives, more than even I realized until after his death, when the outpouring from friends and acquaintances have been almost overwhelming.
Thank you, - all of you.
Hilde
