Robert was a kind and funny man, one who I always enjoyed talking too but felt even more connected when he called me during Blitzo's illness. Taking the time to check in, see what he could do and basically just be supportive. A gesture of kindness never to be forgotten.

Russ and I will be there on Saturday to raise a glass and shed some tears for a man who left the party too soon.

Seeing Robert's Memorial picture above taken by Skip and Erik has me in tears. It has finally struck.....I will not see my friend again here on this planet. Hugs to you Hilde. He loved you so very much.

I'll wager a bet that few have ever had the Fun we had digging endlessly (and finally finding) that sewer pipe! Robert and Tucker kept us (Yerian, Gomez and I) in stitches. :)

His invitations to me (when Deb was not listening) were, how do you say it, a bit more colorful ;-)

Gurg.....awesome. Tales to be told. A baby for Steph and Scott. Lots to share and Fonda would be/is right in the middle of all of it. He lives on....

See ya in a couple.

Hilde and Stahl I will also bring an appetizer for @ #30. Peace, lynnie.

I haven't been following this... primarily as I don't really frequent the Taco. Do you need anything? Trash cans, food, booze, ice chests?

Hi Susan,

It is pretty much covered. Just bring some booze and some chairs. If you have an E-Z up, we may be able us that as well. If not, no worries.

Cheers

Cooking right now for the Robert and remembering the good times. Like the time he let me take over the kitchen and make dinner for Fluoride, Steve, Gomez, Bridwell, Tucker etc. Do we have a pic of that? If not I'll look.

Thanks, Roberto, for your care, concern and advice after Dan went to heaven.
Luckily I didn't have to sell the kids to the slave market in Mexico. But I commend you for your creative ideas. :)!

I hope to make it to Robert's memorial. I met Robert through Steve Swan, Tucker, Todd, Dan Thiele, and others...We usually got to chat at Tony's annual Halloween party. It was also a treat to climb with Robert and Steve at the ranch on a few occasions. Robert was a lively personality. It is sad to know he won't be sitting around the campfire this year at Tony's. It will be nice to hear all the stories others will surely tell about their times with Robert.
