Blessings for all!

We are here and have prepared today for the celebration of Robert, his life on this planet as well as friendship, stories and our wonderful community. Again the celebration starts tomorrow @3pm, food from 4-5 then the remembrance and slide show. Even if you hadn't planned on coming you are welcome. Robert always loved last minute fun.

Looks like a wonderful celebration. I hope when I kick it, I get half the turnout. Wish I'd known the man.

Hey, was the dozer for clean-up after the bash? Now THAT'S a party.

On behalf of the family I would like to express my gratitude and sincere thanks to each and every one of you for making Roberts Memorial and Celebration of his Life a remarkable and memorable day for everyone. It was such a pleasure to meet everyone, and to finally meet those of you that I had not met before. A pleasure that was comforting the sadness caused by the reason for this event.

We could not have wished for a better day, evening, weather, setup, food and crowd, and we could not have done it without all of you.

Special thanks to Wally Barker for so graciously making his property available for this event, to Ron Gomez, Rob Stahl, Debbie Walden, Kat Colella, Scott Levitin, Joe De Luca, Karl Von Halle, and Lynne Leichtfuss for all your planning, preparing, and hard work. Finally I’d like to thank Carey De Luca, Kelsey Gaarder and Doug Green for tirelessly helping out at the food table and making sure the dishes and pots and pans stayed well stocked throughout the evening. I am so very proud and honored to call all of you my friends.

Many thanks to those of you that found the strength and composure which I could not, to grab the microphone and share your stories and memories of Robert with the crowd. Thank you for your kind words.

I wanted to make it badly, but couldn't swing the 1700 mile trip, border crossing, etc. Robert was a good friend and I miss him.

Thanks F10. I think of Fonda often and when I do thoughts also flow to Woody, Blitzo, Cosgrove, Bachar and others that are so missed here. Keeping memories alive in 2017.

Edit: We've had some pretty great "something or anothers!"
