From electoral-vote.com:

"The new power brokers are, it would seem, white working class voters. Will Trump re-center the nation's priorities on them? Can he? Many of those jobs that left are not coming back. Trump and Congress could change the laws to make it unprofitable for companies to do their manufacturing abroad (over the dead bodies of the GOP establishment and donors) but if those factories do come back, they will be modern factories employing 100 computer engineers, 100 mechanical engineers, 10,000 robots, and 0 blue-collar workers."

It's so fun to see Cragman on here mocking people who are genuinely dismayed. People who are confused and hurt, maybe even emotionally raw.

After all, that's what Jesus would do.

from upstream (from a poll, YMMV)

75 percent agree that "America needs a strong leader to take the country back from the rich and powerful."
72 percent agree "the American economy is rigged to advantage the rich and powerful."
68 percent agree that "traditional parties and politicians don’t care about people like me."
76 percent believe "the mainstream media is more interested in making money than telling the truth."
57 percent feel that "more and more, I don't identify with what America has become."
54 percent feel "it is increasingly hard for someone like me to get ahead in America."

Oh boo hoo!

For the last year, the lefties have been trashing Trump and bashing anyone defending/supporting him. A witch hunt, crush all heretics mentality.

And then there was the flood of gloating, before the fact. Hillary was a shoo-in. This was her moment.

And then it wasn't.

I guess the mockery is only bad when the other guy is doing it.

Edit: Good one, HermitMaster.

Wow, I've been slapped down by a real smack talker! I am truly humbled.
Have you googled Smets-Wouters yet? I know you're probably well read on most of
the other DSGE models, just not that one, right?

Well the A.M. radio crowd will have complete control of the country in January. I hope it works out.

The ACA will be repealed, and I bet SS and Medicare are at risk. Federal funding for women's health is over. Probably a lot of vindictive and politically motivated investigations, which the likes of cragman will relish. Environmental regs are definitely at risk, maybe a return to the free market solutions of impenetrable smog, burning rivers and dead waterways?

At least budgets will pass and we won't default.

Big Al, I will as I admit I've never heard of that effect with regard to economics, which you
accuse me of being completely ignorant of. Since I accept yer challenge why don't you
accept mine and comment on on the low interest rate quandry we're in? Or is that beneath
such an economic savant as yerself?

How many of you hysterical Libtards are actually going to make good on your threats and leave the USA?

And if you need any help setting up a Kickstarter, GoFundMe, YouCaring, BegFestCentral, or I_Heart_ISIS campaign to get you off Trumps soil, PM me. I'll help you set it up.

So far I think we have:

Bob Da
Norton
Apogee
FlipFlop
Fruity
HighDesertDJ
the dude with the Moose face
Craig Fry
Crankloon
and all them Canadians since they are so close to the US and might need a buffer

Where are they? No participation in post-election banter? Busy packing?

I consider cragman(Dean) a friend, but I have to admit that his attitude, this morning, leaves a lot to be desired.

Liberals on this site spewed abhorrent filth for the entire campaign.....and now because we GOP supporters won, we have a bad attitude???

Nope, once again Cragman, you're oblivious.

You don't have a bad attitude because of who won, you have a bad attitude because, like a good Christian, you've got to rub it in their faces.

That's the individual you, by the way. Lots of conservatives on here posting their views without trying to rub it in.

But then what would Jesus do?

Pretty damn funny that libtards still don't get that

"It's the economy, stupid."

Indeed it is Reilly. Let's keep an eye on that.

How's it going so far?

A simple to read article, from the BBC:

http://www.bbc.com/news/business-37013670

Here’s the clincher:

Mr Trump's campaign said the plan would reduce the amount of income the government collected by $4.4tn over a decade. This is far below the $9.5tn calculated by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center in August. The Center said Mrs Clinton's plan would add $1.1tn in revenue over the next 10 years.

Trump did, after all, brag that he is the King of Debt.

Hopefully the two-party duopoly/globalization is over, and a new era can begin.

Hopefully the house survives the house cleaning.
