Todd is a great climber and friend to manny, but best of all a great father. I new of Todd but the first and only time I climbed with him was in 1984, at my first and only first at the needles. The formation is called the sorcerer, the climb is PINHEAD 5:10d (sandbag) it was a great day!
Any one ever climb this?

I only recently met Todd but he wasted no time in opening himself to help my wife and I in every way possible when we come out to CA in a few weeks. I am psyched to meet him in person and I am inspired by his generosity.

Todd is a great guy. Met him a while back, right before he got hitched; best guide book collection I have ever seen.

I first met Todd around 1995 in Joshua Tree when I was first starting to climb. I was an eager and hungry newbee. I stayed in his house a few times (back then, EVERYONE was welcome) & parked my van on his property many times. Went to a couple of parties at his house where the infamous Cactus Pricks headlined :-). I barely knew him but he loaned me gear on a few occasions and simply asked me to bring it back at the end of the day. I would pepper him with beta questions about climbs and he would patiently answer. I got to climb with him a few times and he was always way fun to hang out with. I've never met a soul who didn't think that he was a cool MoFo. From time-to-time, I run into Todd in Joshua Tree and it's always a pleasure to spend a few minutes talking. He is the mayor!

Todd is one of the most generous people I know. The man shows no bounds with his home, time, money and emotions. He forgives and truly forgets those who have well not been as kind to him a quality that is lost on so many of us.

Thank you Todd for all that you do, you have made an impression on so many lives and the community at large.

Even though todd is not participating in this thread, and thus not posting
shitloads of pictures, he's still a great guy.

Thanks Mister E. Spot on as usual!!

V. Funny Scuffy, as usual also. Todd is actually way ahead of nearly everyone here in posting ‘shitloads of pictures’ but of other subjects, especially his wonderful kids. He really makes me wish I had had kids. It just is so wonderful to watch the kids grow.

Susan P. Is so right too. TG shows no limits it seems in sharing himself with us, and for years and years now too. The fests and other parties are so unique and cool and always work out really well. I wonder if the roof got redone though. The Group surely would want to make that happen.

And TG as a person: subtle, kind, stealthy-bright. Quite a man!!
