Now me and Scotty can go to Hayward and retro bolt tattoo the vandal.

Make sure you post a trip report afterwards ( in other words sure you will)

For removal advice just do a forum search for graffiti removal. Methods have been discussed plenty of times. Non toxic and low impact solutions.

justthemaid seems to have a lot of experience and knowledge.....

I'm working on it now. Someone has already done a lot. I'm going to run out of cleaner soon, but I'm leaving my bucket and brushes here to accompany the gloves someone also left. Let's clean this up.

Some of these guys display some obvious talent I just wish they would express it in a more acceptable manner

I just saw a few pics of the removal process from the ops supervisor at TMWA. 90% gone. They will contract a soda blaster to finish the job.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to help.

I ran across some grim tagging at Snowshed Crag today. Also, the train snowsheds aren't art any more, the good art is almost all pooched by dummies. Nonetheless, it was still a sick day.

I recently had to do some clean up in Van Norden meadow on Donner Summit. I bought the product called "Worlds Best Graffiti Remover" mostly because it was recommended above thread and it's also supposed to be environmentally friendly. I can't attest to how friendly it is, but it definitely gets rid of the shite that's painted on.[photoid=463748]

Also, if the identity of the River Rock dude is known, how is it that he has not been prosecuted yet?

Sadly i found some stencils sprayed on the hike to eagle lake and around random talus on eagle lake. We actually found a dropped stencil, saw the little tags all the way down the trail. Little stylized thumbs up in black. F*#kin ridiculous.
