I found a nickel.

Gave it away
right away.

My buddies upstairs
gave me 3 care packages
of necessities to deliver
to the indigent of the
Sk8 park I frequent.

Giving feels
good.

Great even.

Bought a 3000 psi electric pressure washer for a dollar and quarter on eBay and cleaned up my driveway, front walk and front porch! Now, on to the downstairs patio deck.

Could things get any better?

Reconnected with our granddaughter!!!

Water heater went out today....It's under warranty....booyah!

Friend shared a story on F/B, that allowed me to reconnect and help a woman who was an angel for me in 2006!!

Lighting came down in our backyard yesterday, about 4 feet off the ground, flash, flash, loud snap snap, frigging awesome. No one was hurt or killed!

Congrats Brandon - best wishes in life and love (I'm newly engaged myself - which is awesome).

The bride-to-be features prominently in my latest awesomeness in life, which is the awesomeness of finally being wrapped up with redesigning my website - which I get to launch this week www.vultaggiostudios.com for those interested, there is climbing content...

Not being dead.
Skied recently.
Lots of plans.
Work is steady.
Changed out old for new GFCI outlets in the bathroom. Will be buying a new circuit detector after I found out the power was still on.

Let's keep this puppy bumped.

This morning, beautiful clouds are draping the slopes of Tehachapi Mtn., and it rained a bunch last night. Wild flowers are crazy wonderful.

Yep, that'll do it! Glad you're okay.

And Johnboy, wow, the rest is icing, eh? Fantastic.

HH the Dalai Lama came to our school and shared a wonderful few hours with the students and faculty.

Being a foolish mendicant, I love poking holes in the Free Nepal crowd. How about "Free Hawaii" or "Free American Samoa" or Puerto Rico or all the First Nations. That is just my idea of a good time. And then I drop a " Since when does progress include theocracies?" Just to keep the yogis on their toesies.
Hearing the Tony Lama renounce his tradition is music to my ears. I'm a strong supporter of types of Zen Buddhism and Taoism and it's nice that he is leading by example.
( can't take a robed cracker seriously at all). Fine for lost souls but still hilarious.

Cheers Dali Baba Flintstone Special Buddha Sauce, for seeking the middle path.

Yesterday, someone told me that he had heard(from someone we both know) that there was a "woman at Coxing(trailhead where I live/work) who makes excellent chalkbags," and asked if I knew who this person was. Showed him the goods and he bought one on the spot.

Later in the day another person who was visiting said she received compliments all the time on her chalkbag(one I had sold her).

Also - getting the urge to get back to my novel, which I have worked on almost solely at the booth at Coxing. First draft should be completed in the next month or so! So - that's a pre-great thing.

I got to spend a rainy Saturday re-reading early Raymond Chandler.

I wiped the fingerprints off the glass. That would make them think she was pretty wise, a different kind of woman altogether--if there are different kinds.
