i remember way before that at the cookie in winter. you were at the crux of red zinger and your feet popped, but you stuck it and finished proud.

Wow! I wasn't ready for that. Scott was the real deal...driven and at times contrary, but way skilled. I loved watching him on thin face.
RIP Scott. Rest well.

The passing of a powerful man. It makes me so sad to read this news. Scott your paths over the stones pioneered the very idea of possibility and are enduring testaments to the strength of man and nature. You are missed already.

Though we all must depart this world, some live on forever as legends in the minds and lives of those they inspire.

Scott is one of those Legends.

Shocking, terrible news. Have always had a soft spot in my heart for him, since when he would let Jack and I shower at his place in JT, a million years ago. He was a nice guy to me/us, and I never knew him any differently. I was so sad to hear of his accident, and cheered to hear of his recovery.....so amazing! Damnit, I hate hearing this. My condolences to his friends and family....there is nothing easy about this loss.

How odd--after all he had been through--and yet, ultimately none of us get to decide how we will go.

I can't help but smile a little to think how hard he fought to get out of that hospital bed and to pass outside, while on a trail, in the arms of our natural world. Good job Coz!

peace again to all his family and friends
