I just came back from the The RIM Club where Mike Arechiga did a presentation on Southern Yosemite. Got my juices flowing. I'd love to join you guys.

Mike and ecflau I live in the North Bay and would be happy to share the road with you.

Looking forward to checking it out.

Nice flip, looks like the burn revealed some goods. Definitely made the approaches better.

Guess I'm going to have to make a list of possible attendees. Under two months before they open the gates and I can get a good snow report.

I just found out today that I will have my niece visiting the weekend of this gathering. Her dates are not flexible so I will be missing the fun with you all!

Things are looking good and the stoke is high. When my wife starts talking about "this Shuteye trip", it's done. We're all in, wife/boy/me.

We have officially 'penciled it in" on the trip calender. Actually did it a while ago, but just recently caught the eye of my wife.

I really need to get on some routes, and I'm not just sayin' that. Sh#t I've endured for the last year or so has put a bruise on my life. It's healing. But I'm ready to jump on some routes. I need it bad!

June.

Is Big Sleep the camping area? I looked again at the OP, and Big Sleep is the area.

When are those gatherings at Southgate? And did you guys (Justin and Jeremy) know that there is a fine little climbing wall at the Rec Center in town? The Architect built the room to accent the view of Shuteye Ridge. Pretty sweet.

Phyl, I would say bummer, but I'm sure you'll have some good family time. We will miss you, then again you could bring your niece.

Moose, really looking forward to meeting you.

Blue, also be good to meet you, surprised we haven't ran into each other out there.

F10, June 24-26@ Big Sleep. Raffle for the ASCA will be on Saturday night.

Flip, gunna do the Southgate thing towards the end of April, I'll let you know. So did they let you climb on the wall yet?

Neebee, look forward to what you produce, big thanks.

A couple weeks ago I camped at mammoth pool and was surprised to see how little snow was on Rd 81. I don't see us having any problems with the rds that late in June this year. If anyone would like to donate some raffle items contact me at jross1838@ gmail dot com. Last year we had a good variety of arts and crafts and climbing gear, so bring cash if you are attending the event.
I am scheduled for shoulder surgery on May 6. I will be limited to one arm for the event so might need some help setting up and if anyone wants to organize a feast I think that would be awesome.
Cheers!

Justin... darn shoulders, hope all goes well.

I have been thinking about making some BBQ stuff, Brisket, Chicken, ribs, beans etc .......

People can come over- get a plate and toss $$$$$ into a bucket.... all of that $$$$ can go to the ASCA.

At the Tom Gilje fund raiser at Todds home in Josh, the Tequila bar was a BIG HIT.... $5 shots

Maybe get a list together of how many are definite/maybe .....

looking forward to this.

Rec center fall back plan?

Pretty cool that climbing walls are catching on, even out in the hills.
