Sorry, all that flicking and skidding is so slow. Not to say it isn't mildly entertaining to watch but they just aren't going very fast. I would much rather watch a real sports car go around corners the right way.

Gnome, maybe you weren't aware that you were watching slow motion? :-)
He's going pretty damn fast a lot of the time. I bet he was doing a good
60+ going up to the Hollywood sign. We're talking a world class rally
driver, like Sørlie.

^^^^^ That's an abomination!

US 1 north from San Francisco on a weekday in September is still one of the best drives around.

Does the de-badged AMG still sh!t in the woods if Smokey can't tell?

Edited to add:

Here's the end of the Formula 1 V8 era. This thing idled at 6,000 rpm and was limited to 18,000 rpm by regulation. Some of the engines were running close to 22,000 rpm before the rules changes.

Edited again to add a nice engine test of the Honda V10. It's not worth watching the video past the engine test, about half way. The Cosworth V10 weighed in at 95 kg and put out something over 1000 hp from 3000 cc.
