I hate to add to this idiots thread but I have A story for all the idiots with blind faith in the powers that be that is relevant.
So I met this lady in the grocery store last night, she was about 55-60, maybe 5'2" and 100lbs if that. Anyways we were both grabbing some bulk stuff and a few of the containers were empty. I said to her "this place is running out of food!" And smiled. She smiled back but had a really hurt look in her eye. She said "careful, there could be no food at all here soon. Something tragic is going to happen." I figured she was probably a nut, but I had time to kill so I decided to engage her (yes I talk to random humans). "You seem like a nice lady, why would you think something negative like that and say it to a stranger?" I asked.
She proceeds to unload on me and tell me how she is finally at the grocery store after 24 hrs of hell, the afternoon previous she was pulled over by a plainclothes PIG in an unmarked car for speeding on her way home from yoga. She asked the PIG for ID as he was wearing shades and no uniform. He refused and told her he did not need to show her anything. She said she felt very intimidated so picked up her phone and told him that she was going to record the rest of their interaction. He reached in the car and tried to grab her phone out of her hand knocking it on the floor, she reacts by pushing his arm away.
The PIGS reply?
"You are under arrest for assaulting a police ossifer"
Boom! 6'3" PIG is now manhandling tiny cute middle aged woman, pulls her outta the car, face in ground, knee in back, armlock, cuffed, picked back up, slammed on hood, frisked, thrown in back of cop car and left cuffed.
She tells me that she is absolutely bawling at this point, scared for her life. It's only the third time she has ever been pulled over in her life and first time in 20 odd years.
The cop is on the radio asking dispatch what the code is for assaulting an officer and requesting backup since he has just been assaulted.
One of the lady's friends is driving by and pulls over when she sees her friends car, the PIG storms up to the friends car and says everything is fine with your friend, you have to leave now!
He returns to the car where the lady is bawling and asking if she can please leave, he tells her the only way she is going to be able to leave is if she signs off on a notice to appear for charges of assaulting a PIG and resisting arrest. Or she can go to jail now and have her car impounded. She tells him she needs to go to the hospital since he just beat the fuk outta her. He tells her to sign off on the charges then + the speeding ticket.
She does so she can escape. Goes to the hospital for the rest of the day. I figured she was probably just being dramatic. But, She proceeds to lift her pants and show me some leg and both her knees are just mangled, like hamburger.
I told her that I now understand why her outlook wasn't so positive and wished her the best of luck. She told me that she felt better after talking to me, some random dude, because she had left the hospital with so much hate directed at cops and men that she was seeing red. Talking to a stranger with positive connotations had given her a bit of hope, I just thought it was sad that the avg person might have a better chance of a positive interaction with a total stranger, that looks like a burnt out dirtbag like me as opposed to a public servant in a small town like Squamish.
I mean, if you woulda seen this lady you woulda laughed at the thought of anyone kicking her ass. She was a tiny, sweet, hippy looking lady. Like Ben Stillers mom in the movie "meet the fockers" lmao this PIG obviously had the smallest dick in the world flexing on this person, proving to her his authority. I hope she goes and talks to the press & a lawyer before this dude shoots a senior citizen for jaywalking.
I'll stick to my usual strategy with police of pretending they have an illness I could catch if I get too close.
Point is, nobody needs to be treated like this lady was. She encountered a PIG, not a policeman- who had zero respect for her rights as a human.
Anyways I'm sure Some brainless fuk head will say she screwed up somehow, but I put myself in her situation and then the cops situation and it really makes good sense to me that sh#t like this should never happen.

That woman is someone's mother and daughter, but according to Jody and Chief that uncomplying impolite b!tch deserved it!

Fewer police killed during Obama's administration than any two-term president in our lifetime
This isn't an opinion piece. This is strictly factual.
Wisconsin Gov. and White House-wannabe Scott Walker is lying when he says President Obama is responsible for a "disturbing trend of police officers being murdered on the job."
His fellow Republican and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz doubled down and told the same lie.
Beyond the reality that President Obama and his administration work closely with police officers and police departments every single day for his own security, the fact is that fewer police officers have been killed during the six-plus years of his presidency than during the first six years of any modern presidency.
The only trend that exists is a downward one. Police officers are safer during the Obama administration than they were during the Bush, Clinton, or Reagan administrations and every single fact and figure proves this.
Not only that, but according to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund, in the six years President Obama has been in office, 807 officers have lost their lives- fewer officers than both Reagan or Bush. By the six-year mark in President “Tough On Crime” Reagan that Republicans idolize so much, 1,129 police officers were killed in the line of duty. President Bush’s numbers weren’t much better, by the six-year mark in his presidency 1,034 law enforcement officers had their lives cut short.

If you look only at fatal shootings of police officers up to September of the seventh year during each of those administrations, the numbers are just as clear.
576 police officers were shot and killed up to this date in the Reagan administration.
528 during the Clinton administration.
405 during the Bush administration.
314 during the Obama administration.
In other words, 46 percent fewer police officers have been shot and killed in the first six-plus years of Barack Obama's presidency than were killed during Ronald Reagan's presidency in the same time frame.
There is no war on police. This entire line is a complete fabrication of the conservative imagination, designed to pit people and parties against one another.
We've come to expect conservatives to lie come election time, but this lie is particularly despicable, because it's talking about true life-or-death issues. Not only that, but this lie is now being spread by police and prosecutors and is even being taught to new recruits in police academies.
Perception is reality, but in this case, the conservative perception is a flat-out lie.
