I don't know half the sh#t you are asking. I was in AMMO with the 388 MXS from hill AFB.

I did 4 years, was in Kuwait in 1998 & 99 both in the fall/winter. No pictures anymore. Besides work their wasn't much to do, besides laundry, weights and video games. The closest we saw for action was Desert Fox, which was probably a distraction during clintons dick sucking debacle.

Too many brain washed morons that grasp for any ideology that confirms their shitty life choices.

Hmmmm... appears you just do not appreciate nor respect authority figures. Being told what to do and all that stuff. Too bad but respectable.

You should have gone PJ's. I assure you that you would have had more fun, done and learned a ton more shet.

So then why did you initially dis my post about being on the deck when you in fact haven't the foggiest what it all entailed? We didn't have video games nor weights or any of that stuff. We worked our asses off 18-22 hours with 4-6 hours maybe down time. I believe Healyje can confirm that.

Out.

Too bad... it would have certainly changed your mind and given you a far better perspective on "military" life.

PJ's are badasses. Worked with Scott Fales in Shu town. Good man.

I'm 6'4" and when I joined I weighed 175 lbs and could barely do a pull-up. . . Not the type of person that goes SF.

Since separating I've moved 13 times, including the Peace Corps, the pics didn't represent a part of my life I cared to remember, so off they went.

When I was on Facebook a friend from my short to turkey posted some pics of me driving a forklift, which is one of the few skills useful for the real world.

And that Skitch was most assuredly by your choice as the USAF afforded you multiple opps had you wanted to actually explore them.

But I do understand as I had this conversation many times with young sailors that wanted the fk out asap. One of which got busted spray painting "FTN" multiple times all over the Skippers car on the pier. Another one that went as far as attempting to jump over the side onto the pier. Unfortunately, one decided to totally check out. I found him in fan room. Dead... he hung himself.

Like I said, the military isn't for everyone. That doesn't mean it's all fked up.

One of my tours was flying logistics and SAR all over ANTARCTICA. Did a buttload of climbing. Stepped on summits and land masses that no other humans ever had.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 24 years. I chose to do shet that was out there and badass challenging after a very salty ABCM (retired with 38 years) passed on some wise words to me a week after reporting onboard the 66 Boat. He reminded me that the Navy is only as good as I want it to be. And as bad I choose to make it. That it had opportunities galore to do shet that will put one beyond over the edge only if I sought them out. He was spot on.

Here's another gig I chose to do in between trips to the ICE. I actually had Werner, COS, The General etc in my helo several times..

Like my supervisor once told me: "your a good guy, but you're not good for the Air Force."

I doubt I'm a good guy, but certainly not cut out for that lifestyle, which the military is.

The military got me out of the tiny town I was in, I wasn't yet ready for college immediately after high school, but it helped pave the way for my under grad in civil engineering and a masters in environmental engineering. So right now I'm in my glory days and not at all bothered that if I stayed in I would be retiring in 2 years, with no real world abilities and no education.

It's all like that wise old Master Chief instilled in me as young 17 y/o.
