I hear you Yosemite 5.9. It is odd to not think of all the cliff habitat that is disturbed whilst climbing. The cliff niche is delicate and much less in area than lets say....a 25 mile trail through a 100 square miles of 'mountains'. If you want to judge then you must place it on yourself first. Where will the bats, reptiles, tes plants and birds etc. go when they are displaced by climbers? Just move on to the next cliff? Until it gets glued and 'discovered'? Then they go where? You righteous folks are hilarious.

It seems sound odd that the prejudices displayed on this thread are coming from climbers, who are frequently the recipients of similar prejudices.

And BINGO was his name. +1

Oh brother! Comparing dirt bikers to climbers????

I agree! How ludicrous can you be to even assume they could ever be in the same league of lunacy... ever.

Oh yeah.... I was actually saving it for the right moment but. Seen it two weeks ago. Here it is for them "Climber" folks here that don't believe MXers are as derelict and demented as they are.

Well now that we're down the video rabbit hole I'd say now is the perfect time to share it. Beautiful little production from a film and cinematography standpoint on top of the radness of his idea and execution.

I am a member of a non-profit organization that bought some land so that the public could enjoy getting access to a very beautiful river. The organization improved the steep dirt road, cleaned out tons of garbage, fixed the drainage problems and improved the parking area that had been left in decay.

Then the dirt bikers showed up. They kept creating a mud pit in the middle of the parking lot, so that they could scream through the mud at full throttle. The trench that their tires dug was several feet deep at times.

Our organization kept filling in the trench, repairing the damage and putting up signs asking the dirt bikers to refrain from damaging the parking area. The damage continues unabated. Tens of thousands of dollars later, now there is talk of closing the river access.

This is my reality of dirt bikers.

Well SLR, it's PP correct? File a formal complaint with the local county Sheriff and have them dudes busted, fined/pay restitution for the damage done and slap a restraining order on their asses.

Did your Org put up signs informing them dirtbag bikers that bikes were not allowed on your PP, period?

Sierra Lodge Rat...When The Chief moves to the panhandle of Idaho , his property in White Trash Estates is going to be deemed a superfund site with all the spent mini- gun cartridges and whoopydee doos from his fleet of motor scooters...Mark my words...rj

That's a bigass negative RJ. I just followed in suit from all them derelict retired LEO's from Mono County, MMPD's that lived here before me. AAMOF, the previous owner of my home here prior to those we purchased it from was the Inyo County Sheriff for a longass time.

All them millions of spent rounds and hundreds of dirtbike trails are all his doing.

Thank God he set proper precedence for me and the others currently that currently live here to follow.

Affirmative. Unfortunately the property is out in the middle of nowhere, a long ways from anywhere, down a long and steep dirt road. No one has either the time or resources to post a guard or to sit and watch to see who is doing the damage. Signs do little to deter dirt bikers who have no respect for other people's property.

In another county, an old man was put in jail for murdering a 16 year old boy. The boys were tormenting the old man by riding their dirt bikes in his yard and doing donuts in his front yard all of the time, tearing up his yard something fierce. One day the old man just walked out into the street and shot one of the kids in the face.

Out in the middle of no where in WVA???

Well now SLR, time for you and your org to get down and dirty with a little backwoods IED payback type justice.

Ya'll ever contemplated that?

There's plenty of that kinda justice around these parts, but civilized people don't contemplate that kind of action.

No, instead they are passive aggressive on some climbing social media site and in reality succumb to the selfish deeds of a minute few. Then they get on the climbing social media site and whine about "dirt bikers" as if they are all entrenched in the behavior you and your org turn your back on and basically enable the continued behavior of a few selfish bastards that obviously need their asses kicked. If not by the law as you state is not an option, then by you and your hard working org.

If you all do not see that as reality, then please, do not come on ST and share how you basically enabled a bunch of hoodlum punks and fit them into this thread.

88 KTM 600 for sale.
Needs a carb. Bitch to start. Needs a battery/voltage regulator set-up so it won't blow all the light bulbs out when you rev the engine. Otherwise, I have a lot of fun on it when I accidentally have the chance to ride. Sure seems to piss off the liberals. (I stay on existing dirt roads and slow down when I pass hikers; but that never really matters) Ugly as f*#k.

Reality Apo. Something many of which you folks need to seriously check into finding. When you do, I highly suggest that you buy a case of it and start drinking till is flows outta your ears.

Seriously.

The same people that are constantly whining about this or that are consistently the ones that do nothing when the opportunity strikes them. They are all talk and no action... none. Blah Blah Blah.

Here SLR, some good old take the shet to the turds and show em a lesson. For someone that talks about how bad he was on the walls and flying them "Queers", it shouldn't be an issue for you. Now dig deep and find it.
