It is unfair to the many great employees, but the perception is still there.

What? They're all non-crimes, since by your "lights" he's not been convicted of anything.
Can't have it both ways. If ya like smoking guns, both he and Clinton have 'em in spades. If ya don't like smoking guns, then be consistent and quit bagging on Trump for non-crimes.
If we're going with smoking guns, then Clinton's directly affect her in-office credibility and integrity. Trump's don't, as he's never been in office.

Ambassador Stevens was told not to go and knew about the warnings on his life, Red Cross and USAID left well before since they knew something was about to happen. rocket-propelled grenade and heavier weapons were used to breach the wall mostly likely the ones we were trying to buy back/smuggle from Libya to anti-Assad rebels in Syria that was the reason plus a few other for the CIA being there and a few merc contractors. The rocket that used could have used to breach the wall might have been ours? Was evidence shredded?
I remember well during the Tet Offense we were told to stand down and not fire. If we needed to fire we were told to first ask for the order to our Captain first, he then radios it back to his next commander, then that commander passes info to his next superior and then all of it gets sent to the US. There they discuss it and if it sounds like a yes they would tele back saying Ok! That order goes to #4, #4 says to #3, #3 says to #2 and then we finally can fire. Real smart right. Well, we said screw that since a unit from another company was being overrun and needed help then not waiting 3 hours later for some shithead politician back in the states. We intentionally played with our radio by hitting the button on the mike as if it was cutting off and half to three quarters of the conversation was not heard or partly heard. like We saved some but not all of them. The next day we had some really nice guys that were screaming at us wanted to look at the radio since we said must have had a bad connection or you guys had problems. I can’t recall what happened but they did not get the chance to see it. They went back still screaming and yelling, guess we were put on a sh#t list. We were.
Happens all the time, raid or the killing of Osama bin Laden guys had the same issues, politicians. I can recall when a marine fired on a building when he was firing at someone running with a weapon of course and a few rounds went through the door and killed a woman and a couple kids or?. It was all over the news, radio commentators right and left saying how could this of happened and the shame this marine was put under. Sacramento had a radio talk show you could call in; they were more to the right but a hair close to the middle but sometimes good to listen to once in a while just so happened they were talking about it and I called in with a similar experience when I was in Nam. Before they put it on or would broadcast it on the air you told the story first, they get a lot of crank calls and the such. Sure enough they broadcasted my story, asked questions, how I felt then and about the marine. Pretty much what I said came to the real point, they sent me a nice letter saying that it changed both of their views on the subject. it wasn’t like the rightwing radio shows today that blast sh#t now 24 hours 7 days a week.
Just under an hour goes by the time Defense Secretary Leon Panetta gets the information so same no help. Except for the CIA guys that were told not to go.
Like this is something new to Americans who are 90% clueless about foreign policy. They know more about Dancing with the Stars, game shows and programmed shows when to laugh the ones when a word or two and the canned laugh is added in every 3 secs another three words and added laughter.

Ah, the old stand-by: Everybody does it.
The difference is that we found out about "the others" after the fact.
In Clinton's case, we have a candidate, one we're not yet committed to, and this time we know in advance what she truly is.
Another difference is that she believes that there is no such thing as accountability for her, so she can be as flagrant as she pleases and then joke about it.
Sadly, about half the people in this nation agree with her.
Sadly, this entire election comes down to voting "against somebody" rather than voting for somebody. Worst choices in my lifetime.
Sadly, given the prisoner's dilemma game of elections, I can't count on the majority to repudiate both major parties and vote third-party. If I could believe that others were as prepared as I am to repudiate both parties, I would vote third-party. But I can't believe that.
So, like everybody else, I see that the only rational thing to do is vote against what I take to be the greater evil. Of course, as just stated, you are all going to do the same thing. May the lessor of the evils win.

Hillary talks specifics on the issues. Trump makes it up as he goes.

Trump still has not said anything as on foreign policy sure he gave a speech about it but was a joke and said nothing except will get every ISIL/ISIS. Erik Prince, founder of the infamous mercenary company Blackwater and heir from a prominent right-wing Michigan family, is once again under investigation for a number of serious crimes, including money laundering and offering mercenary services to countries under sanction by the United States.
What began as an investigation into Prince’s attempts to sell defense services in Libya and other countries in Africa has widened to a probe of allegations that Prince received assistance from Chinese intelligence to set up an account for his Libya operations through the Bank of China. The Justice Department, which declined to comment for this article, is also seeking to uncover the precise nature of Prince’s relationship with Chinese intelligence…
The Intercept interviewed more than a half dozen of Prince’s associates, including current and former business partners; four former U.S. intelligence officers; and other sources familiar with the Justice Department investigation. All of them requested anonymity to discuss these matters because there is an ongoing investigation. The Intercept also reviewed several secret proposals drafted by Prince and his closest advisers and partners offering paramilitary services to foreign entities.
For more than a year, U.S. intelligence has been monitoring Prince’s communications and movements, according to a former senior U.S. intelligence officer and a second former intelligence official briefed on the investigation. Multiple sources, including two people with business ties to Prince, told The Intercept that current government and intelligence personnel informed them of this surveillance. Those with business ties were cautioned to sever their dealings with Prince.
Despite the provenance of FSG’s funding and Prince’s history of bad publicity, Prince was able to recruit an impressive line-up of former U.S. military and intelligence officers to run the company. Key to Prince’s ability to retain such personnel, given FSG’s ties to China, has been the firm’s strictly circumscribed mission, which does not include military-related services. FSG is a publicly traded aviation and logistics firm specializing in shipping in Africa and elsewhere. The company also conducts high-risk evacuations from conflict zones. Prince has described his work with FSG as being “on the side of peace and economic development” and helping Chinese businesses to work safely in Africa.
But behind the back of corporate leadership at FSG, Prince was living a double life.
Working with a small cadre of loyalists — including a former South African commando, a former Australian air force pilot, and a lawyer with dual citizenship in the U.S. and Israel — Prince sought to secretly rebuild his private CIA and special operations enterprise by setting up foreign shell companies and offering paramilitary services, according to documents reviewed by The Intercept and interviews with several people familiar with Prince’s business proposals.
Several of the proposals for private security services in African nations examined by The Intercept contained metadata in the digital files showing Prince and his inner circle editing and revising various drafts.
Since 2014, Prince has traveled to at least half a dozen countries to offer various versions of a private military force, secretly meeting with a string of African officials. Among the countries where Prince pitched a plan to deploy paramilitary assets is Libya, which is currently subject to an array of U.S. and United Nations financial and defense restrictions.
