Hillary or Bern win in a walk over Trump. He is a side show attraction for greedy bigots and racists.

But it is sad that US politics has become so dyfunctional that anyone would see Trump as an alternative to business as usual. Shame on the US Congress. They are arguing over the arrangement of deck chairs on the Titanic.

I'd like to see the source and quotes for that.
Sounds like government coercion.

Folks have different views on government coercion:

George Orwell

“Never underestimate the coercive power of the central state in the service of good.”
Jerry Brown, 2015.

Well, TGT, I looked up a bunch of examples of his crazy-talk, then realized they sound a lot like your crazy talk. So I gave up, seeing the pointlessness of this errand.

Hopefully Cruz will get the nod. That'll make Hillary a shoo-in.

Hillary or Bern win in a walk over Trump.

Not so sure, but for purposes of argument, let's take it as a fact.

Another fact is, Trump has exposed some issues the next President - whoever it is - will need to deal with. Not just sweep under the rug or try to shout them down. Deal with them head on. Or he/she, will be unable to govern. The situation we are in now.

So the same "progressive" Jacobins don't like Cruz's religion and can't come up with anything substantiative.

(Other than that they are exactly the kind of bigots they accuse everyone else of being.)

I agree John. Trump has exposed the fact that there are a lot more frustrated, marginalized right wingers than we thought. If they don't get their way for a third straight presidency, they will probably radicalize. The new president will now have jihadies and facists to deal with.

To the extent his supporters are motivated by economic concerns, I wholeheartedly agree.

But what if they really are attracted to his bigotry and racism?

TGT, Cruz has a history of melodramatic end-of-times rhetoric, and has backstabbed lots of people for the sake of his own agenda.

See? I told you you wouldn't see anything weird about that.

Really? I thought the TeaBaggers did that years ago.

It would be interesting to see how many self-identified TeaBaggers are avid Trumpsters.

Seriously guys, among the typical dem constituents-government employees, unionized public school teachers and top heavy administrations, African americans, undocumented Hispanic democtrats, ex felons, rapists, murderers, politicians not currently incarcerated, gang bangers, Islamic terrorists, drug dealers, welfare queens, unemployed, the falsely disabled, crony capitalists, banksters, actors/actresses of low intelligence, pedophiles, beastiality practictioners, gays, lesbians, bisexuals, trisexuals, transexuals, white trash, socialists, communists, rabid enviros, retards, and the insane-who among them are going to be enthused about turning out to vote for the lying old bag of gas the Hildabeast. Hell, given his sexual assault record even her husband apparently didn't choose her.

So what's the alternative, Rick? It's gotta be a Dem, as far as I'm concerned.

I'd vote for Bernie if I thought there was a chance he'd win.

The other Party? I laugh robustly!

EdwardT: In still trying to figure out what you are whining about. Are you trying to say that it's perfectly OK for Daesh to massacre Muslims (the vast majority of their victims), but it's ONLY worthy of our concern when they target Christians?

I sure wish Trump's Fascists in training had instead evolved far enough to develop the decency to expend their energies to forge a better world for future generations of human beings. Instead, he and his supporters choose to spend their time jerking off on their precious guns and behaving with the merciful instincts of a starving pack of hyenas, baying mindless hatred towards anyone inconsiderate enough to be neither white nor an advocate of their twisted interpretation of the teachings of Christ.

And yet these vicious thugs still lack the balls to admit that the very existence of the Statue of Liberty is an abomination to their most cherished beliefs.

The eyes of the entire world are on the United States, and good people across the globe are gazing in horror and disbelief that white trash like Trump wasn't immediately laughed off the political stage when he crawled from the darkness to announce his candidacy for the most powerful political office on planet Earth.

Stewert.... we are a democracy, anyone who is eligible, can run for the presidency.....and you can't be laughed off of the political stage, just because SOME do not approve.

Figured you being a Canadian, might not understand this very simple fact of USA politics.

The self promoting Carnival Barker does bring up some excellent points from time to time.
