Seriously guys, among the typical dem constituents-government employees, unionized public school teachers and top heavy administrations, African americans, undocumented Hispanic democtrats, ex felons, gang bangers, welfare queens, the falsely disabled, crony capitalists gays, lesbians, transexuals, white trash, communists, rabid enviros, and the insane-who among them are going to be enthused about turning out to vote for the lying old bag of gas the Hildabeast.

Your list mistakenly omits pedophiles, sheepf*#kers, glue sniffers, and shoe re-solers.

Ya know, his depth of support might be greater than we'd like to believe.

There is some evidence that a lot of trump supporters won't admit to supporting him when polled because they are embarrassed. I'll try to find a link that describes the evidence for this.

EdwardT: In still trying to figure out what you are whining about.

Whining? Thanks for keeping it civil.

Are you trying to say that it's perfectly OK for Daesh to massacre Muslims (the vast majority of their victims), but it's ONLY worthy of our concern when they target Christians?

No. (Edited for Saggy Uterton)

Why would you ask the first part? What have I said to give the impression I think "it's perfectly OK for Daesh to massacre Muslims"?

App.... My eyes are wide open at this point....

I have said before, I will not vote for a Bush or a Clinton, unless Bill can run again, he is a smart political animal and did a fine, well OK, job as pres.

I have my own set of standards and things I look for before I cast my lone secret vote.

I will tell you some of them......

I'm very pro-choice ..... Any clown who thinks we will go back to the dark ages, forgetabout it. But I am also a states rights person and I accept just what that means: eg, some states might put more restrictions on abortion...and cause I am for states rights, I will accept a states right to do so, also if a state wants to legalize all and any drugs... that is a state rights issue.

So people like Cruz, Christie, Fiorina.... well no way, not from what I have heard from their lips.

Military Spending..... we need to stay strong, but blowing the budget on some of these futuristic weapon systems will be a stupid waste of money.... lots of money. An example of this is the DoD instance of a replacement for the Warthog. I ask why? That is exactly the sort of thing that is very useful for todays military... just build some brand new ones, the R&D is already done. Same with the B52.. yea its a 50 year old plane, but it still can do the job.

I could go on and on about what I look for, it might surprise you some...

But the election is almost one year away. Lots will happen between now and then.

BIG EDIT: For clarity and the record.

But your brain is apparently incapable of intelligent thought if you are considering Trump.

Guyman: I understand how it goes, and that even Fascists - look it up - are permitted to run for office in the United States. What you appear to be too shallow to care about is that any signs of human compassion are absent in Trump's platform, and this causes civilized people across the entire planet to rightfully view his candidacy with horror and disgust.

Far better people than you fought and died to rid the world of the kind of moral cancer that Trump is attempting to inflict upon the soul of the United States electorate and, by extension, the rest of the world. He and his supporters dishonour the sacrifice of the Allied forces during World War Two.

Pyro - I saw that photo the first time, and I guess you're still too much of a wimp to come out and admit that you intend to vote for Trump. If you cared about how the Nazis rose to power, you'd understand that Hitler's thugs got the largest number of votes in the last free German elections of the '30s - then he levered this advantage to get himself appointed dictator. It's only slightly more complex than this, but even so, I doubt that you have either the intelligence or human decency to care about additional facts.

By the way, Hitler didn't see much of a need for secret ballots - or ballots at all for that matter.

This isn't a disagreement about whether or not it's OK to rap bolt - people die when azzholes end up in the Oval Office. The last time a gang of venal, murderous thugs took over the presidency, Bush and his buddies literally (in the dictionary sense) destroyed the entire nation of Iraq without the slightest justification and over 100,000 Iraqi civilians (by conservative estimates) died - not to mention legions of U.S. and other coalition troops.

And... the war crimes committed by the Bush White House directly led to the formation of ... Daesh! ( AKA ISIS)

So, how come none of you guys are man enough to admit that the Statue of Liberty stands proudly against everything that piece of genetic garbage with the hideous hair proudly champions?

mere coincidence that this ended up here, but it had to go somewhere, eh?

I'd never heard of this guy until a couple days ago.

Maybe y'all crybabies should go and have a beer with one another.

I'm quite enjoying watching the GOP in a slow-motion collapse/implosion.

Dave Frum, a long time conservative columnist had a good piece in the Atlantic this week about it:

"But I am also a states rights person..."

So how about an individual rights person?

Like the right to make choices about your own body?

Surely a good Republican can get behind the inalienable right we have over our own bodies?

Pretty much agree with this stance. Especially the A-10. The Air Force (whose been trying to nix the A-10) should give these over to the Marines.

So how about the whole concept of individual rights, blue?

Like the choice over our own bodies?

Why is that so hard for Republicans to understand, when it comes to this issue?

Must be the infiltration of the Religious Right. Totally corrupted the concept of conservative.

Time for a little 'Restoring Conservatism', donchathink?

Wow.... first off I really brain farted when I wrote Im Pro-life.... But Im at home and can't edit, till then I am on the record as Pro-choice. ..... everybody got that. Sorry Blue, I think that Women should have the right to decide that question 100% of the time.

Stewert.... I don't need a GD lecture from you OK. I find the way you talk down to people to be most off-putting. Are you like that in the flesh? Do you walk around at the crags telling every one how they are wrong and you are right?

And to El cap... thanks for the link. The Republicans have been in trouble for a long time now with people like me. They don't know it YET.

One thing I do find attractive about the Donald is this... The verbal diarrhea he spouts makes ALL political professionals cringe. Right now I think that is a good thing, lets talk about things that all the politicians do not want to talk about.... get it on the table, rub your face in it- there are many issues we Americans have been avoiding for years and now is the time to work this stuff out.

edit for clarity... ill change it for real when I get back to the other system.
