Picked up a new addition this weekend. The two rigs shown are my primary MTBs:

2018 Trek Farley Ex 8
2015 Salsa Bucksaw 2

My son will ride the Bucksaw, as he has been riding a Gravity Bullseye Monster Comp hardtail for the last year. The Bucksaw is quite the step up! Both of us rode it this weekend and liked it quite a bit!

I found this gem, completely stock, in the dumpster many years ago. I stripped off the heavy/ broken stuff and made it my 'round town hipster wannabe bike.

Visited the Mt. Bike Hall of Fame a couple weeks ago. Many great bikes on display:

Sorry for late reply! I LOVE the Farley EX 8. I just got a second set of wheels (29" x 3.0") and freakin love it in fatty and plus modes. Still prefer fatty mode (27.5" x 3.8") but the 3.0"s roll faster for sure on less technical terrain.

My son also loves the Bucksaw. I can tell by his increased frequency of requests to go riding. I took him and his three friends on a good "rainy day" trail yesterday and they all had a blast:

Sounds like I missed a snooze-fest superbowl, so I'm good with that! Watching my son get stoked on MTB'ing and now him recruiting his friends makes me a proud Dad!

Nice there Stahl~! You ride Mezcal while you were out there? The ocotillo out there is pretty coo. Man, after I rode Sedona on all the well thought out and interesting trails, I had a hard time riding Goose or the Moab zone in general. The riding a is step above, IMHO, pun intended. Oh, and the Great Basin is coo n'all but the fauna/flora of the Sonora desert coupled with the Sedona geo is just amazing. AZ Cypress trees growing in red sandstone is a sight to behold!! StahlBrutha, more pics please!!

Tom- which brand of kickstand do you prefer?

Most likely the kind I prefer?
