Allowing yourself to give up intellectual rigor in exchange for religious salvation is just weak thinking and early retirement from what matters.

And what would you sujest really matters?

I'd say relationships. As a kid the face to face ones are predominate. And as one gets older we're able to carry relationships with people in far away places(like you and i) and even with people's we only read about like the pope. And we even have a relationship with people dead and gone, like Abraham Lincoln. What I know of Abe corresponds with who i am today. The older i get the more concern I have with what all people today are up to. Today I'm very concerned with the peoples in Khatmando. Then there's those today gettin 18 ft tubes at The Wedge!

Guess what I'm tryin so say is that human life is what matters to me:-)

You don't think it takes intellectual rigor to understand the bible?

scrubbing bubbles:

You forgot Hitler - oh, wait a minute - you were the guy who said that WW II might not have happened is we hadn't been so mean to him.

That was before your quote about the poor that went (verbatim): All poor people are as dumb as dogs and stupider than dirt.

Us lost souls can always look to you for words of wisdom when we seek moral guidance.
