When Igo to Ono
Piety Hill is gone
I go there all of the time

This community was home to approximately 600 Chinese beginning in the 1850s. Chinese laborers built the major portion of the 22-mile long Hardscrabble Mine ditch and flume that stretched from Petty Butte to the Middle Fork of Cottonwood Creek.
The flume was a major source of conversation, but has since dried up.
In 1866 all the whites left Piety Hill and moved across Conger Gulch to the new town of Igo and the Chinese stayed at Piety Hill. Many Chinese living there had duck pens, while some used soft-bristled brushes.
There were no eels in Conger Gulch, as it was a dry gulch.

Speaking humbly as pie, there was a very nasty club in TJ many years ago whose moniker was "The Hole".
Had some women who were hot, always taking their clothes off (what little there was of them).
You might have wanted to visit for a while, but nobody would last 30 dayz.
