Just as I thought. The original did not mention sandals or flip flops.

Pumps don't work with that outfit, ma'am.
Try some open-toed sandals
THEN light the candles.

Memorable quotes of zBrown:

"Six of one, half dozen of the other; fifty-fifty--hindsight is 20/20 but don't look back."

Algebraically, that can be expressed kinda like this, maybe?

6 (≤, ≥) 12/2.

50 = 50.

< (20-20) = 0 (-0).

I'm not sure what, if anything he's trying to prove, so this is a working hypothetical equation.

We need help here from jogill, I think.

Especially considering the fact that you have a jumping cat that can't be trusted!

Hoops would be a much different game if players were required to go shoeless.

And players would lose out on all that shoe endorsement MO'nay.

Back when mfm was due to get out from his procedure,
I blew a gasket ~ went off and some came to my defense although My position was indefensible.
There is no way to know with out looking and Im not going to but I read along bit till jStan responded and then I went out climbing. Then some very smart topics posted some enor mouse ly funny posts ,
Threads that I badly wanted to add to but to not follow the advice of many that I should fully dry up and just go away, seemed to flip at the time. and Im sure a break from what is a shame of modern haves vs the modern have nots , was sorely called for . then tonight more this afternoon, I posted AFTER POSTING THIS&

Days of rain but Record warmth, in the forecast 'round here.

Incoming rain followed by cold I feel it in my joints the smashed up ones especially.

55-8 degrees in February is warm for the east coast

Sorry to
AirDrop in ,

I've just come in from a jaunt up to that dark buttress.
Ground hog day 2/2/16,
El Niņo has the cliffs warm
no snow
and rain due.

I grabbed from 2:30 till now and then, I'm told I don't have to turn around

I am often,
no, always the transport for children
mostly just mine but some days others as well

When ever the day of carpool duty is mine I stay around home.
Today was not to be different.

Then at 12:30 one of the other parents called
and was able to drive from the bus stop
stay and wait,
then collect & deliver hers and ours home, with pizza to warm-up for dinner.

It was great to catch a sunny day the exhilaration of stomping up the bowling ball like scree,
I was buzzing, the winter girth noticeable; I can feel it in my knees.

It was bright and sunny breezes and the sound of gun fire filled the air.,. . Wait what?
Yup, the spot I have chosen to expend my tendons is a neighbor to a gun range, an airport and a highway. It really needs bolts. . .

Argh sorry
to interrupt.

CC & GOTD--

Dear me, what is a persin supposed to do?

Go have a seat in the corner with VP Quail, please. Both of you.

It is a-v-a, c-a-d-o! Not avocadoh, not avogadro, nor avocodo.

I even spelled the plural of the word correctly in my post and I CALLED ATTENTION TO IT thinking that folks would mess up the plural spelling, but I did not plan on anyone's misspelling a word you see all the time in the supermarket or bodega.

You are both potato-heads; or maybe even bird-brains, though that is slighting your feathered friends, who deserve better.

(Sorry, Potato Head--I don't mean to bring you into this. And Ron Anderson, if you are lurking today, please do not be offended either.)

This chiquita is the Mexican avacado industry's avacado advocate/abogado. She is this close to bringing suit. The Flames are lucky we have plausible deniability in any wrong-doing.

Now, I realize I'm "making a federal case of this." But it's in the interest of placating the people of the great nation of Mexico, who are already willing to shoot Donald Trump on sight.

I won't get on candidate Trump here, CC. But he should not be eating any guacamole this Sunday while watching the Broncos play the Panthers.

Further, he should stop using his avacado-based moisturizer at night, as well.

Otay, time's up. You can both come out of the corner. The lecture's over.

[All in fun, guys. All in fun.]

Check out recipes for Super Bowl 50 (and St. Patrick's Day) using Avacadoes from Mexico on this link.
http://twitter.com/missavacado

I am thinking of a recipe using ornanges and avacadoes to celebrate the Broncos--not Broncoes--but I have to compare their relative merits first.
Are they compatible palate-pleasers? And which types to use? Navels or Valencias? Guatemala, Hass, or Fuerte, Zutano, bacon, or Gwen?

And how about avacado and black olive dip, using sweet red onions and Poco Loco's Chiloe Chili for some zip? This would be a sop to the Carolina Panther fans, whose team colors are silver, black, and that pukey blue shade.

And please, don't tell me I'm comparing apples and ornages, Mac.

If not birds, then some pest like a worm? Or fungus? I'll have to do some checking up on that.

Thanks for the tip, CC.

Well my_chele has informed me that not celebrating holidaze is a sign of old age.

So happy birthday dukeDawg and eKat.

And, happy ground hog days all_y'all.

The lady up the street went to high school with John Wayne, so her little Yorkie (the one who got attacked by a Deutsche-Sheepherder, but is recovering), is named?

... DUKE ... (not the Hawaiian surfer dude)

This is not a Yorkie, though it is a duke.

Close, but no avocado

Well, Dwain, old bird, it looks like I have eggs for breakfast.

I hate wiping them off my face like this, but there is just enough for a small El Capitan omelet. That's with sprouts, mushrooms, cheese, and topped with avocado and sour cream. Little smoosh of Chiloe's Chili on the side.

English muffins, no jam.

Side or home fries, please.

I've never had such a pedantic experience.

I'm only able to make the defense that SHE LED ME DOWN THE PATH TO SIN

I'll let this be a lesson to me.

What that is, I'll have to ponder.

Rush-Rush, the Rushman

Anytime today
I need to be at the VA Clinic no later than 9:30--that blood draw.
I'll finish up the paperwork
I have rent due today.
Run the errands that I hate
I have no groceries to speak of left in the house but apples, grape jam, and a little bread.
Take something from the freezer
There's nothing there--don't use it much anyway, except for ice cream.
Bring in all the mail
I'm sure there's no correspondence, but will check anyway.

No sunrise picture-making this morning. It's kind of a blah-looking one...you get a sense of it's impending glory relative to the weather, the glow on the clouds, if any are present. The sky's clear and there are some flattish clouds out over the SN, but I'm not going out when there's frost on the roof top next door, freeze while I am waiting, and come back only to see the mediocre results relative to the really good mornings.

It's experience. It's expedience, as well.

There are certain things--the rent, the need for a blood draw to check the PT (Prothrombin Time) of my blood--that I MUST do, but there is nothing else critical to my existence that needs to be done.

I'll need to phone around and pay a few bills, like PG&E and the cable company. I receive my SS on the third, not the first, directly deposited.
I do need to go to the Mexican market--a very good one, by the way--El Bajio, to buy a money order for the rent. I ran out of checks long time ago and haven't bothered about ordering more. I lost the checkbook, see. But I only NEED to pay the rent with a document (they understandably won't take cash in the office downstairs) and all else is negotiable over the phone or on the computer and I prefer the phone.

And though I have this fine, modern modem that measures my BP, weight, and O2 saturation, there's no way to send blood over the phone or on the computer, so I need to ride the bus out to the VA. On the walk over to the bus stop (the Merced Transpo Center, which is the old SP depot where we can board the Greyhound, the city and intercity busses, and the bus to Yosemite) I can stop in at the BofA ATM to pick up the cash for the M.O. The market and the VA, that's it for the day. I'll snag some groceries while at the market.

But I need to call Bullwinkle first. He's staying in El Portal and has invited me there to visit for "a spell," however long is up to our whims and how we take to sharing space and time together. I am sure looking forward to it.

I'm taking my copy of Yosemite In the Fifties for his autograph. I'm going to pack a suitcase for the convenience of travel, so there'll be room. If he'd like any special food items brought up, I can get them at the market and haul them along. I'm planning this all right now, ad lib, because it's how it's done around Middle Earth.

Were I a rich enough person, I'd have a social secretary and a valet to take these tasks from me. However, like Reb Tevya, I'm not a rich man.
[Click to View YouTube Video]There's another show tune for you, Gnome.

If I had the income,
This would be a different life, indeed.
But I'm not a rich man,
So I have to plan out EVERY need.

Yada-yada, yada-yada-ya.

I haven't got a car now,
So I must travel everywhere with none.
It really slows me down now,
But it's not so bad--it can be a lot of fun.

Yada-yada, yada-yada-yee.

Wish me bon voyage, now,
I must get going and be on my way.
I'll be back in touch soon,
Have a very nice and pleasant day.

Yada-yada, yada-yada-YAY!

I'm taking postcards along, so if I have an address for you, you may have Yosemite-stamped souvenirs from me coming. I can't promise anything, but since Bullwinkle's working at the Yosemite Research Library and the Yosemite Post Office is just down the mall in the Village, I'll try to send something to some of you.
If you don't get a card from me, here's one I made up myself, complete with the traditional touron-oriented description on the message side.If I were a rich man, I'd send you all a card from the Ditch. Or, rather, my valet would have to do it for me.
It is so rare that I get to Yosemite, lately, due to my health and lack of funds. I need to spend more time there, breathing clean air on a winter's day. So I'm very grateful that Bullwinkle is being so kind as to offer me a place to sleep. This may be an opportunity; one never can tell.
