A rare moment
well after dawn, 6:11 at least, I caught the Fox slinking through the back yard.
just as the red tail hawk, that resides close by, was ca-cughing wheeling into a tight turn to land. . .

,,, the thing is I very rarely post then if (& oops) I don't adjudisously reference, annotate , well then

This should not now, get complicated.
If I post other posters pictures I try to point it out it was an over site to not have been sure to drop some Bob and then there is Cindy , and Bras Nuts. . . The Bird thread !
I Go there always as the birds here are in riotous song. At dawn.

Running a fowl of the greatest climbers that I know is not a goal, I was recently accused of being Richie Romano, I thought it was so ridiculous - that it was funny.

Bob, I posted your picture of the Heron in flight from December 3, 2016 , On mfm's Flames thread,
The one that also appears with the as amazing picture of the ASTOUNDING
Two Bald Eagles looking like a mirror image, posted 12/4/16.

I just wanted you to be aware, it is rare but from time to time I am so taken by an image from this page that I share it

To all of you who have such amazing pictures please and thank you
I spend hours wandering around in awe inside this thread .

Good Morning Mouse.
I don't know where that lovely little road is, but I want to go drive it in the MG. Looks perfect for an outing. :)
One of my neighbors out here in the country has a rooster, and he is crowing right now. Welcome to the day. :) I hope it is a good one for you.

That is a very fine road to drive and the early morning commuters had it wired, but we poked along at a slowered rated.

We came upon this cluster of 3-4 homes and a small meadow that really looked nicely cared (except for the old box van parked in the field) for and which lies at an elevation where it's not foggy all the time.

Stopping for lunch and wishing I were right there, in that place, next to the trees. Beautiful and peaceful.
Thank you for the beauty, Mouse.

So Tommy comes by with a tale of woe: some crazy wailed on his fancy bike, damaging the mirror and the back fender and the wobbly antenna thingies. Not much he could do but weep and moan.

We had to climb two six foot gates topped with four strands of wire .

Michele was straddling the second one with her private region precariously close to being stabbed when the firefighters happenef by and lent a knee to step down onto.

We generally ignore no trespassing signs and others like the "warning bears and mountain lions have been seen here"

My only comment was when did they start locking these gates, we used to mtn. bike through here all the time.

Another fe dead. Mr. Tambourine Man.

Just saw the notice.

Langhorne’s unusual style, without fingerpicking, was dictated by an accident with a firecracker when he was a 12-year-old violin prodigy, blowing off most of his thumb and two fingers of his right hand.

“At least I won’t have to play the violin any more,” he told his distraught mother, Dorothy, on the way to the hospital.

Exorcism by the Order of the Yod

Hear he hear ye
By this moonlight you shall witness
The holy cure for dermatophytes
Flargwumps and harpies
And illnesses of every kind

Step forward now
The Illuminati of the Twin Carbuncles
The ancient Order of the Yod
Command it to be so
Sacred too shall be
Your deliverance from affliction
And from other things that go bump in the night

As the apothecaries scribe
Circles, squares, and pentagrams in the sand
Drawing parameters around all participants
Analgesics to any plight
These talismans for your somber fixed hearts

Wallah
You are healed
May the auras
Of unsolicited demonic habitations
Henceforth be evicted
So it was and ever shall be

You are very welcome

Om

The Hernia Horror Show continues...

I got a call today from Veterans' Alliance for Health and they are getting me a heart function test here at Mercy Hospital. I guess the surgical planner isn't going to call me back, either, from Fresno. This is supposed to be taken care of, I thought, following my last visit to Fresno's cardio floor. I had an ultrasound and EKG both. What gives? No mention last time of heart function, but better safe than dead.

And so the matter drags on, hopefully to be concluded sometime before I "fe dead" myself.

Equanimity is called for here, in bunches.

(Am I in Shanghai again?)

I received your birthday card, neebee. Thank you, it was special, only one of two cards this year.

"Can I count on your support again next year, late or not?
Thank you, Brian."

And this card came from Frank Dean, who I do not know personally, but is probably a really decent guy. He's head of Yosemite Conservancy and he signed this card asking for a donation this year, though I haven't given the YC anything in four years due to extreme poverty.

He suggested upping my donation from $25 to $50 because many of my peers are selecting that option. Well, I must refuse that kind offer as well, Frank.

Hope to hear from you again next year and maybe I'll have won a lottery.
