Apparently the name Kim Jong On is about like John Smith over here. So they made everyone with that same name change their name so there is only one.
So this North Korean guy is standing in line for bread for four hours. Finally he says to the guy next to him "I've had it. I'm going to go kill Kim Jong On." Later he comes back, and the guy asks him "So did you kill him?" "No. That line was much longer."

That line might be long but it's not going anywhere. As long as North Korea is the regional bitch of Communist China the abhorrent conditions will continue there. The key to any significant change for the better lies squarely with the ChiComs. As it always has,as far as N. Korea is directly concerned.
If this little psychopath that putatively runs that miserable nation were to croak an hour from now the ChiComs would have a similar puppet to replace him two hours from now

We should send Ron Anderson as Ambassador there and all those little perv ChiComs will be running away quickly which will pave the way for Rodman to become the new Supreme leader .....

Let's tell Kim that ISIS thinks he's a two-bit weakling. He gets ticked off and takes care of ISIS, which destracts him from his SONY fixation. Once he has taken care of them, we can worry about him.
We'll send some journalists to interview him about his success against ISIS and ...
The irony of it all. He'll never see it coming.
Yes, I should be president

As long as Cuba is the regional bitch of capitalist United States the abhorrent conditions will continue there.
Those conditions continued and were developed in Cuba because they were propped up by the Soviet Union and because their employee at the time was Fidel Castro, who was a petty dictator/puppet and who wholeheartedly embraced Marxict/Communist Totalitarian principles---which doomed his country to an economic fate similar to North Korea.
When the Soviets wanted to place nuclear rockets in Cuba 90 miles from US shores Fidel learned that his bill was now due. Later on the Soviets ordered him to send Cuban troops over to Africa as fodder for Soviet ambitions there. Another quid pro quo.
Since the downfall of the Soviet empire Fidel has had to turn to South American style Narco Terrorism to keep his People's revolutionary state paying off Fidel's Army and police state.
BTW the existence of this so-called "embargo" as a dominant factor in Cuba's economy is yet another overblown leftist fantasy that no one in the rest of the world really buys, but it allows liberals in this country to run around fooling themselves into thinking Obama has done something wonderful. The embargo fantasy has its roots in long efforts by American libs who have always had this deranged warm and fuzzy feeling towards Castro and have sought to provide an excuse for the failure of his revolutionary state by blaming everything on the US.
It's another sick farce.

No , Cuba was "constrained" by an expanding Soviet empire, which sought to place nuclear missiles 90 miles from our shores, aided by a power hungry poop-shoot communist/marxist puppet.
The only way the U.S. is culpable in the tragedy of Cuba are the various forms of rank stupidity and incompetence generated to deal with this situation. That stupidity continues to this day. We are seeing yet another form of self-delusion and fakery emerging just recently.

Look, if you want to buy into the fantasy that Cuba's economic failures are due to the U.S. "embargo" well then ...enjoy yourself man.
The question is: will North Korea be next on a future Obama apology tour?

The worst of it is that Cuba was a beacon of democracy, freedom and prosperity before Castro.
