I've not read one bit of this thread, but love the fact the word SEASON is f*#king spelled incorrectly.

I love me some Homer!! (and I have those moments ALL time.)
I personally adore when I send out a business email and sign off:
"Love, Lisa Mae"

Oh I can top that one. My wife and I always say "love you" at the end of every phone call. My friends make fun of me by saying "love you" all the time.

But what makes this bad is when I'm talking to a client and end the conversation with "love you", only to realize what I just said, and the awkward silence on the other is all about.

Nope, I didn't jump to anything. My point is simply that I don't understand why it seems so important to kill critters that are just wandering around for no good reason.

Hunters somehow seem to always either be shooting themselves, or accidentally shooting their partners. I find a lot of irony in that.

There was a classic a few years ago. Some idiot set up one of those Deer Blinds in a tree. It collapsed, he fell 20 feet to the ground, lay there for a day, and bear came by and tore the sh#t out of him. He lived, bearly (he he he he).

This guy's gotta be a mega troll... I bow in honor...

hile I appreciate the "bow in honor", honestly there is nothing but sincerity in this thread from all sides.

Lot's of varying opinions, lot's of different stances etc. No harm, no fowl (couldn't pass that up), just lot's of very entertaining banter.

Carry on.

I always gawk in amazement at the "hunters" with their $3K rifles complete with scope sight that makes the Hubble Space Telescope look like Wallmart reading glasses.

We are animals and cannot be superior to ourselves...

I can't agree with you more on this locker, but I do stick to my guns that most people are not smart enough to even consider the concept. Which brings us full circle to my original point, these are the very people running loose during hunting season shooting themselves and/or others.

I'm sorry, I find evolution entertaining.
