Redrocker,
Thank you for the link.

Neebs, I will be in touch soon, busy hauling firewood right now before the usual Halloween Snowfall.

Go Cozzy! You are doing a great healing job, and we are all cheering you on! Bravo! on the great move off the ICU pitch!

hey there say, feralfae... great... have been busy with leaves, here, before the snowfall, 'hinted' at, here, for friday...

:)

say, wish i had firewood to cut and haul, as, that would mean
that i had a fireplace, ;)

AND FOR SCOTT:

keep on keeping on scott!!!
things now be, naturally, NOT as they ought!!!

but a step at a time...
workS toward a GOAL of being, fine...

THOUGH fine, at first, may not seem the best...
JUST KNOW: each new STEP thereafter, takes CARE of the rest...

prayers keep coming, for you...
to DO the best that you can do...

and may the day, soon enough, then come...
that you look back, and say "i've made a great run!"

god bless, there, scott...
you ARE NOT forgot...

All the best to Scott and his family.
Got a lot of thx and respect for him.
He recently before my trip to Yosemite, gave me some advice about some gear I had posted pics of.
Tha advice could have possibly saved my life.
Scott doesn't know me except by Facebook.
I have never met him. But there he was, an old pro helping out the new guy.
Thx you again Scott!!
You rock.
Sending huge healing vibes man.
All the best to your family during this time of stress and strain.
Hope to meet ya sometime.

Latest report from people close to Cozzy as of this AM.
He gave a visitor a thumbs up on Friday.
They've downsized his trach so he can speak better.
Still confused and was insisting Saturday he had to leave.
Good day today, he talked a lot and got pretty emotional when told the names of everyone asking about him.
Perked back up and asked for ice-cream.

That's Coz.

Why waste time in hospital laying in bed when the sun is shining outside ...... :-)

More excellent news. He speaks, He remembers that ice cream is the most delicious food on the planet. I pray that his most joyful and happy memories come back in full force first.

Scott,

From us incidental people in your life, I don't care if you ever remember me. I hope you will still savor the adventures you have had and you find the drive to return to fine form again.

Joining Holly's prayer/karma cirlce.

Oh Yeah! Coz is definitely on the Mend. Difficult to express in words what this whole thing of injured warrior, community coming together, friend healing has meant. Life is a trip. Elevators, escalators, grand ascents, incidents, discoveries, recoveries. But mostly friendships, experiences and lives well lived.

Scott, you are rocking and will rock on. Peace and Joy, lynnie

Not wanting Scott to drop off the map here. Can you give us an update? Is he still in the hospital? Is Scott in a wheelchair? Does he know why he's in the hospital? Is he recognizing his friends?

Praying with Love, lynnie

Every time I check this thread there's an update that he is improving... better check it more often :)

Glad he's improving. Maybe I'll pick him some nice flowers tomorrow while at Woodson, I bet they'd freshen his room up...
