I have 8.02 on my ipad air. It only fixes some of the issues 8.0 created.

Curiously, the Copy and Paste issues seem to be only on some apps. Safari, for instance, still has issues, but Google Chome does not.

I have an original IPad that did the same thing on the final upgrade that was available for it. I stopped using Safari on it altogether.

After about three weeks they fixed it, but I had to reload all my software.

I searched around and it was reported that those who did a "clean" fresh install of iOS 8 had the least problems.

Maybe iOS 8 installed on top of iOS 7 caused most of the weird bugs?

In my last post I erred and said 8.1 when I meant 8.2. I am at 8.2 and I have the problems I noted on my iPad.

I'm going back to my Windows desktop until the geniuses at Apple Central figure this out .

I also tried a factory reset. Maybe I will try it again.

Werner, I couldn't access the APN cause AT&T has that locked up like everything else.
I stopped by the local AT&T joint and the girl looked at me like I was crazy
when I said I used to have a good Traffic function on iOS 6. Maybe she
hadn't been born yet. Anyway, it seems that the 'update' to 8.0 has done
away with that functionality. I said, "That's an update?"

I wound up downloading a free traffic app that seems pretty good, maybe
even better than the old one. I already forgot what it's called, something
weird like Ixis. Maybe written by Eddie Izzard?

I had to go to "settings" then "general" then "reset." I did the "reset all settings," and that fixed all of my iPhone problems after the upgrade to 8.02. Lost my background photo, though. Got Apple Maps back!

8.2 is a total wad of crap, there is no denying this. Using my iPad is like pulling teeth, especially for doing certain kinds of things--- totally unreliable and frustrating.

They should seriously consider a retro option in which you can be allowed to go back to a prior OS version---maybe they do but I'm not enough of a tech-head to be aware of it--- I'm just a person who wants my IPad to work right ---like it used to.

If this is an upgrade I don't need a downgrade.

What did you pilgrims do?? I have absolutely no problems at all with my 5s @ 8.0.2 (ATT) synching to my Mac Pro 1,1 hacked to run 10.9.5 Mavericks. None ever with this getup. Traffic is in "Maps" by the way, and is fully functional for me. Images are right side up from camera.

What did you pilgrims do??

We trusted the Almighty Apple, that's what we did. This morning my 4s map
only shows the blue dot and a previous pin, on a blank checkerboard. I
tried the suggested Reset Network Settings so I guess that reset something
not so desirable, eh?

I guess no one should ever upgrade any operating system to version 8

See you at Starbucks!!!...

Really? Is that where I can get my iPhone fixed?

And why do I have this nagging suspicion that when I'm in Italy next week
it will take a complete dump?
