Looking far from broke-down, Rodger. I envy the !hit out of you.

Tried the tourist route here in Milano? It was a highlight of my dad's trip there in the war. Flew in, flew out, but he managed this with a friend. They got out on the roof, never near the actual summit.
Enjoy what you can and thanks for the reports!

Always fun to hear about your exploits in the Dolomites Roger. Hope you get that Dolo Mites infestation taken care of.

And even Fred Beckey headed to the Dolomites. From the looks of it, Rodger still has a good 15 years of climbing left there.

Nice stuff!!!

I used to live in Milan. The Dolomiti Mts. are cool! Never did any climbing, I was in 5th grade, not into climbing yet.

Caught a huge trout though!

FYI-

The route Fred was on is Torre Quarta Bassa, Nia Normale. I've now done twice--my last Dolomites route in 2013, and also in 2014. Fun climb, fun descent.
