Does anyone know if the "White Room" on Half Dome has had a 2nd ascent?

Brad Jarret climbed it back in the day from what I remember.

hey there, say, Avery... or anyone...

say, even though i been here a bit, i am still new to many things about climbing...

i don't think? i have seen anything on this 'white room' ...
it would be really neat to see some pics, or more about the
first ascent, etc...

or links, too, if there are any to a share about this...

thanks so much!
thought it would great inspiration, too, while info trickles in...

I think Dana Eubanks climbed it also. I can't remember, so not positive on his ascent. Maybe he will post up more information.

Thanks Folks. I know Jarrett climbed Bushido and Dana definitely did the Big Chill, I'll ask him about the White Room.

Dorton climbed it, not sure if 2nd or 3rd ascent.

I believe Sean Plunkett aka "Mr. P" has done it & proclaimed it to best route on Half Dome & I believe him, he's done a bunch of 'em up there.

Oh, I think you are right about Dana doing Big Chill and not White Room.

I am pretty sure Brad did it. Because I asked him about "Loose Tooth City" and well I don't remember his response.

It's a cool name for a climb. Is the name from the Cream song? I'm with Nebee and would like to see a photo[s].


I was just reminded of a google search tip that a friend showed me. On a google search page type:

Dorton site:supertopo.com

i.e. append "site:WHERE.URL" to your normal search. I have a feeling that Clint or Ed Hartouni reminded us of this years ago. You can then use google's searching syntax that some might find easier.
