I think my eyesights bad. Its just a blurry sort of red small cloud in the sky. :-)

would it be better with binoculars?

I got a few pics of orange moon with two white stars/planets nearby. Experimented with 800 to 3200 ISO using 16x optical zoom on a point and shoot, mini tripod on the car in the driveway to stabilize. Will post up tomorrow.

or: seeing different spot lights--like perhaps the one at the corner, through the fence, ;))

Nice shots everyone! Fun to see so many people up late/early to see the eclipse. I've never seen one before, so it was pretty cool for me.

Kinda bummed that Ed had clouds, was hoping for several super epic shots from him - that one shot is really nice though. Mouse's series is pretty damn spectacular!

Congrats to all those that stayed awake for the event. It made me somewhat hyper, but I did not last throught the whole eclipse.
