Thanks for the info, Steve.

Some ideas: A catered dinner (Simple one) out on the patio with live music so everyone who attends can have some relaxed interaction with one another. Also more vendors to promote and sell stuff outside before you enter the event. Instead of one theme, some varied topics under a very general theme. But I'm sure you and Mimi have already thought of all these things.

Have you asked for suggestions on this thread or any thread here on ST just what people might enjoy as topics or other ideas they'd like to see at Oakdale? Even if it is every other year I would love this gig to go on. You guys have done an awesome job.

Cheers to both you and Mimi. Lynne

Lynne- We have a local rancher who offered to let us have a party on his spread next time around so we are likely going to do something along those lines on Saturday night.

In response to feedback from the last two years we took a long lunch break to give folks time to have a relaxed meal and visit. Socializing and meeting new people are a big part of the glue that makes these gatherings so rewarding with respect to community building and fostering climbing culture which is central to the NACHA mission.

We are always open to advice and suggestion as to creating the best possible experience as this is always an adventure.
