Anywhere that is warm, safe and I can keep clean, put stuff away and a room for each of us. Plus it has to have a yard the dog can play in, the street safe enough for a kiddo and a garage for the tools and cars. A nice useful kitchen. Oh and for it to be perfect... A library and office please.

omg I want your cats!!!!

hmmm.. well I do have a station wagon. I guess I could live out of the car, but that would be difficult for 2 people + 2 cats ;)

but that's what I've heard. simple condos selling for 600k, when you can get the same here in Montreal for 300k.
meh.

What do campsites in Stanley Park go for these days?

Oh, and Tami, yer cat looks like it must stock up on attitude at Costco
cause regular stores don't carry that much.

Start building it this year in Breckenridge, CO. Going from 900 Sq feet, with no garage to a house with a double car garage and extra room for storage, etc.

Such cool dwellings!

Anyone want to chip in and put a bid on Cragman's place for an eastside hang (ala Steve Grossman's Seattle Pizza Kitchen thread)?

Our home in Chilean Patagonia is small (1000 sq. ft.) and simple but well constructed and with a worldclass view.....location, location, location!

Going back down for six weeks on 1/30. Climbing, exploring, fishing and, best of all, relaxing in a noise and pollution free pristine environment.

Wow, donini! The house looks functional, simple, cozy, and minimalist, and then you turn around and look out the window...

Between you and Cragman, you've got some phenomenal views!

yeah, like it is said above....location. I am there/here.

My home has no walls, only dynamic space. I love it more all the time as I explore the free-air as well as the air trapped in my skull.

As far as houses go, I like them small and efficient as I just cook, read and sleep there. I can't remember the last time I spent a full day there?!

I own much of the centre/centre left part of the mountain so the backyard view will be rather nice once I get a place built.
Then I will be interested in doing some house swapping. It looks like Donini has the location thing figured out.

moosedrool: You've got some mad skills! What town in Poland is this? I've spent a little time in Krakow, and LOVED it!

brokedownclimber: Love your deck!

RyanD: I think I'd live in a van down by the river, if the location was Squamish.

P.S.--If anyone wants to join us at our humble abode for our semi-monthly "Bouldering BBQ," on Friday - Jan. 24, PM me for details. We usually have anywhere from 15-30 people show up...all ages, home climbing wall, fire pit (if weather isn't hideous), BBQ, nice people, kid-friendly, drug-free (except for BYOB, if you want), etc. Show up anytime after 6:30pm.
