When I practiced law in LA in the late 1970's - early 1980' there was a bankruptcy lawyer named Dick Moneymaker. We also had two ophthalmologists here in Fresno named Drs. Snow and Fogg, who were partners. There still remains a law firm here named Stammer, McKnight, Barnum & Bailey that was the butt of circus jokes.

A friend was just over who knew a guy named Claud Foot. In addition to that travail during WWII the US Air Force made him crawl into a coffin-sized cubicle in the nose of a special recon version of the P-38 Lightning to man the cameras. I guess they figured if he could bear his name he could bear claustrophobia, extreme cold, and abject terror for many hours.

Any of you who put in a lot of mileage on 395 during a certain era ('80s) probably crossed paths with Mono County Sheriff's deputy Hap Hazzard. Who went on to become Mono County Supervisor Hap Hazzard. I kid you not.
