Damn, bad news.

Good luck Pat.

I hope this doesn't mean you won't be at the Blitzo gig. I guess it probably does though.

An hour or so before I check in for surgery so I thought I'd post something. Thanks again to one and all for all the nice posts, thoughts and advice. With you in my corner, I know this is a done deal.

I won't have my cell phone while I'm in the hospital (2/3 days) but I will have a landline so I can reach the outside world.

I'm bummed I'll have to miss the Blitzopalozza but such is the nature of bad timing. But I'll be at any future fun event.

T2, dude, so good to hear from you. When I get out I'll get in touch and we can catch up. Good on ya Tommy:-)

I just spoke to Pat on the phone. He was in great sprits!

He had a team of doctors he really liked and they were very positive about the operation.
It will be a few days for the pathology report. So cross your fingers for him!!

He says thanks to everyone at the party last night who was wishing him well!

Don't feel too sorry for him right now. He has a 6" 5" super model from Canada taking care of him right now! We want some pictures Pat!

Whew, I'm glad that part's over. Youze guys are fantastic. It was a tough few days but now that I'm home I'm feeling much better. Karen thanks so much for all you've done.

After having to suffer post op gastric disconfort from opiate pain meds, I'm see how using ingestible thc compares and so far they friggin rock.

More later when I can post from my computer instead of phone.

Wish I could have made the memorial

Pat,
I'm so glad you are home and doing well.
Sometimes, the challenges we face as we age make the risky business of our youth pale in comparison.
Getting old ain't for wimps!
Karin and I send our love and wishes for a complete recovery.
