Thanks for the welcome - it has left me speechless. Not sure what stories i can tell. I can say that I am still trying to make them (stories, ie), though in a much more sedate manner than in the sixties. That however, makes them on the boring side.

Hi Elaine. We climbed out in JT 20 years-or-so ago. "Bird of Fire" and a couple of other things I think. Welcome to the internet version of the "Time Eraser."

Welcome, Elaine! Our paths crossed many times in the Valley, and I look forward to hearing some of your stories, or at least, your virgins (sic) of stories that I've already heard! No pressure tho! Lots of friends here!

Russ, is that you? LOL!

Guido: We all know you have a copy of "The" photo handy, so why keep us all waiting???

No need to wait, Ken, anybody can find that old "cover" photo on the web if they want to see it.

Here's a more recent one:
Dick Williams, Jim McCarthy, Elaine Matthews, Al DeMaria. 2nd row: Burt Angrist.

I looked through the archives but me thinks someone pilfered The Ping of Pingora. Alas, it shall remain embedded in our minds forever.

So far we have pulled into the fire McClinsky, Boche, Guido and only General Von Hennek remains to come forth of the fearsome four. Or was that fearless or more likely fearful lads?

No wonder Mimi and I didn't see much of her at the 2008 Reunion...Hanging with the stalwarts she was! Serious climbers with serious intent.
