More scrotal overshares....

I never had any pain issues....wore a double set of chonies for a few days...good to go.

However.....

....about 2 months after the fact, I was moving some employees onto a new job site, along with their tools.....and felt a little tug down south.

Pain developed overnight, and by morning, it looked like I had a third nut moving in to tight quarters. It was a Saturday, and I called my Doc's emergency number. (He was an hour away in Bishop)

Of course, when I spoke with him, he figured I was just one of those exaggerating men when I told him of my GROWING condition....but he agreed to see me.

By the time my wife got me to Bishop, it looked like a had a tennis ball in residency with the twins....and DAMN did that hurt!!!!!

I waddled into the Doc's office, and when I dropped trou for the good Doctor, his reply on first glimpse was, "Oh my Holy God!"

Ultrasound showed this thing as a (obviously) HUGE bloodclot....I was put on blood thinners in an effort to dodge major surgery...which worked.

Wicked painful....like a bowling ball in a marble bag....DOH!!!!!!

Or as my Grandfather used to say...."Ten dollars worth in a 2 dollar bag."

I did. I had help, and a tiny, empty, crushed garlic jar and the lab was only two miles away... Still, it had it's moments....for instance I had to call first to make sure they had a time slot to look at it (short shelf life) and though my assistant was my romantically involved partner, it seemed more clinical than erotic. That she laughed when I held up the jar at what would have been the right moment had she not laughed, and had to try again, twice more, pretty much killed 'the moment'....

Speaking of blank testing,
my youngest brother (10 years younger than I) is the result of dads vasectomy becoming undone, poor dad had to have it done twice!

Dean, you should it. I'm no expert, but I am willing to bet that a good proportion of Supertopians have tried it. They seem to be "normal" to me.

Thank you for making it clear. These supertopo name changes can be very confusing. It's worse than keeping track of the countries in Africa or the mergers in the pharmaceutical industry.

And Craggie gets credit for the best preamble to a supertopo post ever (at least for today).

I was nut prepared for what would come out of the woodwork when I started this thread. Balls of fire, Rambo-style self surgery, a recreation of Cheech and Chong's ET: Extra Testical, test firing blanks. It's been a good day. I've gotten to talk about genitals almost as much as on a scary climb with le_bruce.

Norwegian: I did test fire some blanks after the first surgery. And I did a test fire after the reversal years later. It was early in the recovery process, and the little tadpoles had broken tails and swam in circles, or something like that. Better than a bunch of dead fish. I am remiss in the follow-up for testing full recovery. I do have access to modern lab equipment, so might just do end-to-end self service, from product delivery to testing.

My strategy for the testing phase is this: use your own imagination, don't touch anything you don't have to, and wash your hands when all is said and done. And use a napkin to open the door when you leave.
