Dean, you should it. I'm no expert, but I am willing to bet that a good proportion of Supertopians have tried it. They seem to be "normal" to me.

Thank you for making it clear. These supertopo name changes can be very confusing. It's worse than keeping track of the countries in Africa or the mergers in the pharmaceutical industry.

And Craggie gets credit for the best preamble to a supertopo post ever (at least for today).

I was nut prepared for what would come out of the woodwork when I started this thread. Balls of fire, Rambo-style self surgery, a recreation of Cheech and Chong's ET: Extra Testical, test firing blanks. It's been a good day. I've gotten to talk about genitals almost as much as on a scary climb with le_bruce.

Norwegian: I did test fire some blanks after the first surgery. And I did a test fire after the reversal years later. It was early in the recovery process, and the little tadpoles had broken tails and swam in circles, or something like that. Better than a bunch of dead fish. I am remiss in the follow-up for testing full recovery. I do have access to modern lab equipment, so might just do end-to-end self service, from product delivery to testing.

My strategy for the testing phase is this: use your own imagination, don't touch anything you don't have to, and wash your hands when all is said and done. And use a napkin to open the door when you leave.
