I thought Locker is a mystery stone?

Boy, and I thought I knew Alaska. So where on the frozen tundra, not Lambeau, are those?
Nobody commented on my mystery towers or were they too easy?

None of the above. Y'all have the right state though.

edit: Here's a clue. A lot of folks on this forum have seen this crag from a distance. Very few have been up close and personal with it though.

Darwin, it looks like Granite Tors outside of Fairbanks!

Is the above Tietons, WA, like Crack House?

Survival; so close that I have give it to you. Have you been to the Tors? This is near Mt Prindle, same general direction from Fairbanks (NNE), and they are very similar formations as the Tors, but they are maybe 50 miles apart.

Thanks Darwin, but no, in all my 30 years in Alaska, I never made it there. I just saw quite a few photos from a good climbing friend who was stationed in Fairbanks.

It is Aberdeen Columns, in Vernon BC, near Skaha.

Cool - never heard of basalt columns up there, but I love Skaha!

It's not Starr King, too high angle.
The weird peak to the left is...just weird.
Of course it's in California, it's kinda intuitive, having lived here this long.

Hi, Gene! I heard on the vine you were down here in Merced the other day when I was up in Yosemite.

DMT, Nope.

Lotsa people see this one, but they're on another mission when they do. It's bigger than it looks, and the approach is no big deal.

I can't make it any easier than this:

I'll play Kris. That thar's Hermit Spire. I'm one of those people who looks at it but hasn't climbed it and I need to remedy that. Great shot by the way.

I'm guessing you're very familiar with my post around #50

I've shown this before, and I'm sure some of you have been there, but it's a cool piece of stone.

Is that Hermit spire thingy out past Obelisk?

LimgCrag wins it. Hermit Spire, seen to the north across Freeman Creek Drainage and the Spectacular Freeman Grove of giant Sequoias by countless Needles climber from the approach trail.

Not anywhere near the Obelisk, you might be thinking of Kettle Dome?
