Talked to TM today, he said he didn't want to hang out with a bunch of old farts, cracked me up! I reminded him he was an old fart too.
I'll work on him some more, but, $35 might be a bit steep for him. Would be for me.

Julia, Please tell TM that I'll spot him the $35 (or someone will) IF HE JUST COMES TO OAKDALE! Please tell him that his friends want to hang out with him, and that it's not so easy to do now as it was in the old days! Lauria, McLean, Little Joe McKeown, and I can find him a place to crash, so not to worry! JUST COME!

TM gets a free pass always. Tommy is working on him for me and Peter Mayfield is willing to drive him over so it couldn't be easier for him to come and join in the fun.

The Granite Crucible – Community and the Evolution of Free Climbing in Yosemite. A Circle of Friends
Yosemite climbers of record will discuss their free climbing accomplishments and development in relation to the natural and human resources unique to Yosemite.
Sunday, October 27, 10 am-6 pm
Standing Our Ground – The Preservation of Camp 4
The value and significance of Camp 4 and its preservation will be discussed in detail.
whose going to be around earlier? I'll probably drive into town around noon (to avoid the Friday traffic)...

I am thinking I will be there by 2-ish, Ed. Got to avoid that gambling and Tahoe traffic, certainly. Check in at the Best Western that SGrossman has us staying in is technically at 3pm, although they say 2pm is likely okay.
