hey there say, all...

from experience with folks in england, north umberland, japan, and with lolli 'ad on gift adapter' overseas mail can take anywhere from:
10 days, to 15 days...

and even to 20 days--if it stalls for some
reason... :O

however, it HAS always, so far, in my expericence ACTUALLY MADE IT... both ways... :)

Just came in from getting the mail. Two things of interest...

One a package from my Secret Santa. Can't. Open. It. BN would be unhappy if I didn't wait. Argh! Killing me!!!

Second unrelated item...video we ordered from Sender Films...with postage due! WTF? Seriously, the postage and handling paid isn't enough? Boo.

BN would be unhappy if I didn't wait.

I guess that means we can expect photos later of the grand unveiling?

Ok, I decided not to wait. Here's me with my excellent gift:

Thanks Joey F!

The stainless steel wine cup is more appropriate for me than you might imagine, as I have a reputation among family and friends for knocking over fluid-filled glasses and causing a mess and breaking things. This cup is designed not to tip over and it works quite well!

soooooooooooo........ i just moseyed on away, all quiet like, just
in case...

LOVE IT and the pics!

neebs-
I assumed you would pick up on the hint (winkie, winkie). Inside that box, one gift is wrapped, the other is not. Hence the "Do not open until xmass" labels. Just ran out of time for wrapping the other, but I think you will like it and find it worth the wait. Thanks to the pooch for keeping an eye on it.

Coincidently, when I got home this PM there was a box sitting on my porch with a sent addy label from Mountain Gear in Spokane. Hmm??? Being that none of my family would even know MG exists; I suspect this is my Super Santa gift. I'll wait till the 25th to open it.

But the BEST gift I could receive this xmass is my 83 year old Dad went into surgery this morning to put some stents in his arteries. Apparently the procedure went well. Like all father - son relationships we had some rocky times. It was very relieving to get the call that things went well.

Happy holidays to all.

Edit: neebs- feel free to open the big box whenever you want to receive the unwrapped gift, but wait until xmass morning to open the wrapped package.

Re-Edit: It's Mountain Gear, not Mountain Tools

Okay... the unveiling...

Luckily Dave came home shortly after the gift arrived. I am not known for patience in a lot of arenas--- and waiting to open a gift is definitely one of those arenas. Especially when the return address is StoneMetal Design (squeal!) :)

Pente and I managed to get the package open without incident...

Not one, but two beautiful hand-made....

Necklaces!

Thanks Sonya - really awesome and I love them!
