Dave is very talented.

I am long overdue getting on this thread to let you Squamish folks know that Mimi and me had a fantastic time on Psyche Ledge and that we will be there as often as possible in the future.

Squamish has become the best granite free climbing destination around with all of the hard work that the locals have put into cleaning and climbing. The quality of climbing along with big improvements in camping and the town have made this place truly sweet but not as sweet as the local climbing community. No downside left and it wasn't always that way.

So much talent and character in the mix of folks this year that we will absolutely make this a regular thing just as Wayno has. Great folks one and all. How I missed meeting Hamie I can't quite figure out but hopefully won't next time around.

Heads up, 4th Annual Psyche Ledge gathering Saturday September 12.

Remember:

Family friendly
No open fires (Gas BBGs OK)
No booze (to be seen)
No camping
Leave the place tidy
Careful with the fungus!
No posing.

I promise to pick up their poop. And I won't just toss the bag into the woods. Man, I hate that.

Looking forward to certain fun.

Big Mike,

Give er'!

Wayno,

Look forward to seeing you again!
The dog poo bags in the woods baffles me and is a topic worthy of a completely separate rant.

Probably won't be set up officially before 17:00 but start whenever you want.
As Jimmy Buffet said (and Daryl agreed), "It's five o'clock somewhere."

If Grossman gets back in one piece from his Prancefest, we should be good to go. No Masha or puppies but hopefully the rain has brought out some fungus.

If Grossman gets back in one piece from his Prancefest

I went to Boulder once. It was at the invitation of... well it was back in the old rec.climbing days. Anyway, I'd planned to show those prancers what prancing really was. You know, Squamish style.

But the first day there, on the way to the crag, I closed the truck door on my bare foot and...

...and prancing just ain't the same when you've got a broken toe.

G'day folks

What's the dealio with this years festivities?

Have any meal arrangements been made?

At this point in the week it seems unlikely that I will b working Saturday, if I this is indeed the case I will be available to help set up, supply a bbq & help facilitate.

Is anyone else into makin a meal out of this gathering?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Trooper in Whistler, or Psyche?
WWJD?

What would JC do?

C'mon, man, that's kindergarten stuff. Jackie Chan would tie the bass player in knots, crash an amp down on the drummer's head, kick the guitarist off the stage, sneer at the singer, and then split for psyche ledge.

Cuz he knows that's where it's going to be real.

When Steve and I come up on Saturday, will we have to deal with the bike race? It hasn't really been an issue in the past as it usually ends early enough but I was just wondering.

Woo Hoo! I'm looking forward to it!

Luke, If ya really want to do food, take charge. I think if Jim has his grill, we can just bring shet and cook it and pass it around. Either way is good. It was good of you to bring it up. Food is good. Beer is good. Beer is food. But not all food is beer. Gurgle, burp.
