Cowloradans, probably from the peoples republic.
Some young folks, attempting the second (fifth) pitch of University Wall, the morning after. One of them told me that pitch has never had a clean, on sight ascent since Peter did it in 1987. Is that true?

Good question, Jim. I like the concept of a social vortex. I like the concept of just a vortex. It is something you can observe in nature at ascending levels. I can observe at Squamish, things that give me a palpable sense of Synergy. You know, where the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. I don't know, maybe it was the shrooms. Or Daryl. Or Jim Sinclair. Or Will Stanhope. Or Perry, or you Jim. There is definitely some Mojo there.

Yes, you know about the aerial, but you may not have known that I was an elf. ;)

Won't be at CW on Friday. Probably will do that once or twice a month, but not every week. It seems like I find it difficult to leave Squamish - I'm kind of attached to it.
