Yes!!!! As I sit here at 2am getting ready to finish our next boat , Domino (I do Race HQ radio). We have had 3 boats finish so far. Michael on Mouton Noir is expected Monday, poss early Tuesday. Seazed Asset will be coming soon! Vance had some incredible mileage the other day. I think about 134 nm. His delightful partner Amy has been joining us for the nightly "Tree Time" which is growing by the day as sailors arrive.

They have weathered some really, really tough conditions and maneuvering into Hanalei Bay, across the finish line, and finally anchored is no piece of cake either. The excitement doesn't wane for each boat arriving. I characterize the finished skippers as "adrenaline crazed zombies". So exhausted, yet so pumped. Just like finishing a wall. EVERYONE is excited and then eventually crash time.

Susan,

thanks for the update! I spoke with Vance this evening. He crossed the line around 4:30pm PDT. He was up all last night so is quite tired, but he is very happy! Congrats to everyone!

This has been the best adventure to follow vicariously on the internet. I'm super stoked for Michael and all of the racers. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I used to solo a lot but I don't get this type of soloing, cause I like to sleep.
But I do have a lot of respect for these people, unrepentant as they may be! :-)

Done. Dawn finish. They endured hurricanes, sucky weather and horrible lumpy confused seas all for a Belt Buckle and partying under the iconic "Tree"

Well, its not single handed, and its not the Pacific, but it is almost as impressive:

Comanche has blasted more than 24 hrs off of the transat record averaging no less than 21 knots on their record busting 5 day 14 hour crossing.
