Wow! 2:23 divided by 36 pitches. I get 4 minutes per pitch or 2 minutes per man per pitch.
Very glad this came off safely.

CRAZY! To beat the record by over 13 minutes is nuts, especially considering that the last time there was only a 20 second improvement. CRAZY!

Thirteen minute improvement - pretty damned impressive given these times are probably starting to get close to the bone. Is the Nose in under two hours the new 4-minute mile...?

imagine,, yur laying on yur ledge enjoying the quiet morning when suddenly some guy is mantling onto your ledge- a foot then stomps you in the gut as a climber whizzes by trailing a rope so fast thats its burning a hole in the edge of yur ledge - you look up just in time to see him whizz on up the next pitch as a light shower of chalk wafts lazily into yur eyes.. Talk about a rude awakeniung ! hehehehe

Eric, the "2 min / man / pitch" would make sense if they were pitching it out, but simul-climbing screws with that. Still, 4 minutes / pitch for the team, that's something to get your head around.
1:25 to the Great Roof, Hot Foot!
Twisted, what's this do to your graph:
