Like I said, I accidentally stumbled upon this thread. I'm not really a climber (unless you count climbing cylinders :P), I'm her sister.

I do have a sense of humor, guys. It's just that my culture and discipline kind of make it feel disrespectful when such comments are made towards my sister. She doesn't need fewer clothes to practice and definitely doesn't need such comments in her address, either. I personally find that dishonorable, ok?

With all due respect, to avoid undesired comments, don't post anything on the Web. Otherwise, expect it.

I'm sorry for posting her name! Didn't think about this showing up high in searches as a result.... but "power of the Taco".

I tried to edit the post just now, but cannot. I'm able to edit more recent posts, but not old ones. This was not the case in the past.

Am emailing the admin to delete my post if they can.

Tatasmovik- Every person on this site looking at that video is appreciating a beautiful performer with astounding skills. I'm totally blown away. Hopefully her name will be deleted from the post now that a request has been sent. EC is correct. It is probably best not to post anything on the internet in the future if your family is sensitive about privacy.

PS: Just ignore the Canadian. Everyone else does.

Be proud about your sister. She's the best. Her skills are far beyond anything I thought possible. Armenians rule!

... and Italians. LOL... And Nature: don't forget the Russian climbers and the Ukranian boxers.

Doug,
the Italians didn't exactly tell us what to do, but rather what not to undo.

And she is Armenian.

Thank you guys, I am proud of my sister, but in no way am I here to dispute or tell anyone what to do. All I ask is to be respectful, because my sister deserves respect. Of course you guys are all free to think or say what you want, but I too am free to say what I think of some of the comments in reference to my sister and ask to be a bit more respectful.

Again, thank you guys. I really appreciate all the decent comments and the creator of this tread. By the way, don't worry about it. You don't have to delete this thread, it's not a problem at all.

Oy... Would it be just TOO much to be polite and say something like "We understand your concern for your sister; thank you for posting" and leave it at that? Why does anyone have to snip at the woman? Would WE want to see a bunch of strangers(some stranger than others) posting "less clothes" about our OWN sisters?

Hey tatasmovik, RJ, the site admin, edited out your sister's name and the links. This thread will be quickly fading from searches with your sister's name.

She, and the rest of your family, have amazing talents!

Some cultures still do what we used to do in the US. Perform some editing so that what we say does not simply mirror what we are thinking. IMO this practice is much to be admired.

In the video I noted that no room was cleared around the hand stands so as to permit an unobstructed fall. And the lady's focus was so complete the distractions did not interfere.

Further, I would have thought a nearly five minute hand stand would be difficult just due to blood pooling in the brain.

An incredible performer on many levels.

To see more of this kind of class, Netflix has a film on arm wrestling with the Russian champion Alexey Voevoda and John Breznk of the US.

My sister looks better in fewer clothings, too. She agrees.
