cragster: you editorialize way too much for one about whom I or anyone else could editorialize endlessly. Take your ball now and go home.

I appreciate these reports even though I hate snow and don't really need to know what's going on up beyond the grade.
Chinchin's reports would be helpful for many! (even if it is the "economic climate")

*And by the way, Jason is a super resourceful, talented, and motivated dude, maybe just frustrated right now, so don't be too much of a dick Crag.*

Looking good out here in Bishop, should be a killer day at the boulders. HIGH friction. Cold as a room full of nuns.

Stay the hell away.

Some interesting dynamic going on right now regarding skiing/poaching on June Mountain. I'll post more info here later on the subject.

Dean, maybe you can address this later. Someone told me that MMSA is thinking of re-opening June Mtn next year.
Also, I wonder why June was never opened to mountain biking.

Dean, you haven't skinned up there yet? (Surprised)

I probably would not, unless I could hook up with Eric or something. I'm friends with too many people involved.

Besides, there is a skin track going up through the steep trees, I would probably do that. (Still need new boots though)

I think it might be colder there than in WY right now.

It hit minus 20 degrees in the meadows last night. Suppose to hit minus 22 tonight up there.

Brrrrrrr...

Inside my house was 34 this morning. The water line to my toilet froze.

Forecast to be -20 F or colder here tonight in Bridgeport, and as it so cold already before 8 pm, I am betting colder. 70 degrees here in my office, so a differential of 81 degrees from one side of the wall to the other...

ba da bumm..

I went to school for a short time in Arkansas. It was 70 in the morning and muggy when I went to class. The day before it had hit 80 degrees, so I wore shorts and sandals. I hadn't seen a weather report. When I left class 6 hours later it was 18 degrees and blowing a blizzard.

I had walked to school. haha..

that was a cold run home with the wind chill.
