so, i'll accept clarke's claims (btw, does he have a book on the way?) because it proves bush is a genius: 1) to pull off this cover-up for 1 year, much less 10; 2) because he acquired information in just 8 months that clinton never acquired even after 8 years; 3) because his methods for dealing with terrorism were so effective that even barry hasn't been able to improve on them even with nearly 10 years to figure out how

Andreas von Bulow served on the parliamentary commission which oversees the three branches of the German secret service while a member of the Bundestag (German parliament) from 1969 to 1994, and wrote a book titled Im Namen des Staates (In the Name of the State) on the criminal activities of various secret services, including the CIA.
Von Bulow told AFP that he believes that the Israeli intelligence service, MOSSAD, was behind the September 11 terror attacks. These attacks, he said, were carried out to turn public opinion against the Arabs, and boost military and security spending. "You don't get the higher echelons," von Bulow said, referring to the "architectural structure" which masterminds such terror attacks. At this level, he said, the organization doing the planning, such as MOSSAD, is primarily interested in affecting public opinion.
The architectural level planners use corrupt "guns for hire" such as Abu Nidal, the Palestinian terrorist who von B'low called "an instrument of Mossad,"
The evidence to support this view is considerable:
• In October 2000, approximately 11 months before 9/11, a retired Israeli Defense Forces(IDF) officer, and veteran of the Yom Kippur War(1973), was collecting English Ivy Cuttings at the Gomel Chesed Cemetery located at Mccellan and 245 Mount Olive Avenue, which is near the city lines of Elizabeth and Newark, New Jersey. The Gomel Chesed Cemetary is a Jewish cemetary.The man overheard a couple of people having what he believed to be a conversation spoken in Hebrew, which drew his attention. He hid behind an 8-foot tall retaining wall and listened in to their conversation as they stood below. Shortly after a Lincoln town car approached the two people — presumably Israelis — and the man in the backseat got out to greet them. After normal niceties were exchanged the third man said:“The Americans will learn what it is to live with terrorists after the planes hit the twins in September.”One of the men that had been leaning against the retaining wall expressed concerns regarding whether the upcoming presidential election (November 2000) could impact the plans. The man that arrived in the Town Car pacified the doubts by saying:“Don’t worry, we have people in high places and no matter who gets elected, they will take care of everything.”The observer who overheard this conversation related it to the FBI on numerous occasions only to be ignored each time. Nothing was done about it, and no investigation into the incident has ever took place.
• A group of five Israelis were observed by multiple witnesses, videoing the 9/11 attacks and “high-fiving” each other for a “job well done.”
• The FBI arrested about 70 Israelis after 9/11 who seemed “somehow connected to the attacks.” Michael Chertoff, FBI head and Israeli Sympathizer (His family is mostly from there.) got them released.
• Most of these men worked for URBAN MOVING SYSTEMS, a MOSSAD front organization. A lone American employee of UBS reported that the entire Israeli contingent celebrated the 9/11 attacks
• Some of the released Israelis, after getting back home admitted on talk shows that they had been sent over to “document the event.”
• Several firemen reported feeling huge explosions in the Twin Towers 7-8 minutes before the planes struck. Also, one of the last firemen out, Rodriguez said that the remaining firemen said the fires were small, scattered and easily controlled.
• There is evidence that prior to 9/11 there was a lot of activity in the basement and utility areas.
• ZIM, an Israeli company, vacated its office(10,000 square feet) in the North WTC tower a week before 9/11, breaking its lease. 49% of this company is owned by the Israeli government. The lease ran till the end of 2001, and the company lost $50,000 by breaking the lease. Later, FBI agent Michael Dick, who was investigating Israeli spying before and after 9/11 and looking into the suspicious move, was removed from his duties by the head of the Justice Department’s criminal division, Michael Chertoff.
• MOSSAD agents rented the Apt. adjacent to the hijackers in FL
• Seven of the so called hijackers are still alive, having been victims of identity theft in multiple countries. Many intelligence experts believe that it would require an Intel Service backed by a sovereign state to do that.
There is far more evidence than this, but I don’t want to take up too much space on SUPERTOPO

What troubles me is Clarke's very first complaint, at
the time of 9/11, when he said he had given warning
after warning to the white house about possible
terrorist plane hijackings, and the immediate aspect
of his warnings, but how those warnings were simply
pushed aside. He was, naturally, appalled by the inaction.
All his comments, though shared with the public
after the fact, had a strong ring of genuine alarm and
concern.
That he has had further reflection and perhaps new
conclusions, well, would anyone be surprised that he
has remained troubled all these years. And
aren't they are worth listening to? He is and
was a very intelligent man, and I've never heard him
speak when I was not impressed with his lucidity and
knowledge. It might all boil down, though, to the fact
that Bush didn't really believe such a thing could happen
and simply dismissed it, effectively negating the role of one
of his most important watchmen...
That kind of incompetence was perfectly within the scope of
Mr. "W."
If he was part of some deeper conspiracy, what would be
called real evidence is just not there, even reviewing the
long list in the post above. Not one of those points proves
much and could have other explanations... I wish we could get
some "real" evidence, some proof of the things people alledge...
