Thanks neebee, she has been gone 18 years now; sometimes it seems like 6 weeks, sometimes a lifetime. Impossible not to miss her.

i actually had a mother's day, usually i never do...
was very nice...

thanks for the bump here, for folks to share...
my mom is far off in calif...
we shared a fun phone call and i am calling her after this post...
she made cupcakes with my sister... they had their own personal
mother's day... :)
and took a nature walk...

me-- ? i actually had a mother's day, this year...
three of my kids, contacted me... :)
(been better, to communicate, since after my ex died)
i will post a pic, in just a bit, ... my oldest, and his wife,
sent me a fruit-gift...
and i got a card from that wonderful ol' lacey gal that know, :)
(she spent her day being a superviser, so to speak, to a
wild mama cat, and kittens) ...
great day, to do it:

Me and mom walking next to Union Square around 1949:
Think we lived just up the block in a flat on Hyde St. close to the Presidio. A real native San Franciscan. My mother worked at the gift shop next to the Geary Theatre a couple of blocks closer to downtown.

I know it is not Mother's Day but today is the 1 year anniversary of my mother passing. Below is a picture of mom and dad on their wedding day (he 23, she 19) and then a picture of my dad and my uncle with their wives. My parents are on the right, picture taken at a family reunion in Yosemite in 2006.
