Hey boys-me think you would have better luck with some welder gloves.

Dr F-would be cool if you could label those photos.

Dr. F

Thanks for the photos. I'm curious. Are you involved with cactus as a hobby, as a commercial operation or for a university botannical garden?

Whatever the reason, you clearly have spent years at it.

hey there say, Dr. F.... i never knew this...

i think i did see a few post of you, and cactus... but didn't know how
much you loved them...

thanks for all the shares...

my thoughts and/or memories of cactus:

1--when we were really little kids, our dad drove us from ohio, to calif... through arizona we saw the segorro (spelling?) cactus...
i loved them so very much... was so impressed, with seeing them, never forgot them...

2--my mom's little cactus garden, of many kinds, on one side of her house... always wanted one too...have not had a chance... but in south texas we had prickly pear, wild, all over the place!

3--the prickly pear, of south texas... wild! all over... i loved them...
we'd eat them too, when our more "palatble" ones were not producing...

and, we'd eat the "tunas" from the fields of the wild ones... loved them so much... miss them so much... :(

thanks so much for the share...
:)
