I gotta admit I've not seen them or ATL. D wins championships, as long as you can also score.
I just figured Brady was keeping the spread down for next week.

Texans may be down by 18, but they're just a field goal away from covering the spread.

Anyone here check out the astounding Bama versus Clemson championship game? It doesn't get much better than that one.

Wow a record 6 straight AFC championship games for Pats.

Amazing sustained excellence.

But as we saw tonight anything can happen on a Sunday. Any of the teams left could win the SB.

Sea Sqwabs' D is a shell of itself - no rush, mediocre LBs, over-rated pass D. They're done.

Naw... I suspected a year like this with their O-line issues. They've got $38M ( http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/seattle-seahawks/cap/2017/ ) in cap space next year (and hardly any dead money [less than $1M]) and the only significant free agent is Hauschka (who they might just let walk as he's no longer "money" it seems). They have four good looking RBs (Rawls, CJ, Pope Collins), RW is still a stud and the receiver group with a ton of upside (like with the emergence of PRich). Even their OLine has a lot of upaide. Ifedi is a mauler and so is Glowinski. Britt switched to center and played at a near pro bowl level.

Not sure how you call Wagner (who set a team record for tackles this year) and KJ mediocre. Though the lose of Irvin hurt that unit it did allow Clark to get on the field and he played lights out.

It was only three years ago that they were one of the youngest teams to win a superbowl.

They've got all their draft picks this year with probably an extra 3rd, 4th and 6th compensatory, no cap issues at all, their core of pro-bowlers still in their prime. Plus they play in the NFC west and about the only team with a chance to catch them is the Arizona team with a washed up Palmer as QB. Naw... this team is anything but done.

Well, braj, I agree that on paper they look good, but on the field they didn't get it done. I know
they had some injuries but they weren't playing that well before those. And the offense's
seeming inability to grasp that it is worth scoring in the first half also mystified me all year.
I also think Russel needs a couple of months in a cave in Tibet to clear his mind. Why does
he have such a hard time making decisions? With his mobility he shouldn't take any sacks.
Maybe he needs to grow a few more inches to see over those big guys?

Oh, I only meant they were done by the middle of the second quarter. I have faith in Pete
to improve things next year although I believe their season long first half scoring probs are
due to his misplaced faith in his D's ability to keep them close in the first half. They went to
the well in the second half way too often. An improved run game next year should greatly
help.

GO HUSKIES!

I like how ESPN saying Pats "got by" the Texans..granted a lot of mistakes, but they did win by 18 and cover the spread with a sub-par offensive effort

against the top ranked defense in the NFL built on the very plan of how to defeat a "Tom Brady" get after him and make him "uncomfortable." They succeeded in that, and the result?

The second ranked defense in the NFL is the Pats'...
so it would seem that they have an edge in the always random outcome of the playoffs.

Radio silence ?
The Patriots. Texans game was great. But (as always?!) , I thought the Refs were ridiculous, not making the call till Brady's head bounced off the turf.

Green Bay / Dallas

The Cowboys just scored, to take their score to 10,
That is an 11 point deficit with 6 minutes left to play in the 1st half.
The score
Green Bay Packers 21, Dallas Cowboys 10

(Arron Rodgers with / Jared Cook has been dominating the field)

Well,
I've stayed away from a fairly regular thing that happens for most any sportz event.
It is just down a short street. This game time was a test of the true party football fans on the street, our passivity to fan zeal is well noted. I make up for it by being the designated pre-dawn dad at the bus stop. I had to be there for the a Pats. Texans game last night.

Dallas left too much time for the likes of Rogers; with four downs and his experience at clock management, he just has to avoid any picks.

Edit: I get a certain enjoyment out of watching Jerry Jones lose in gut wrenching fashion. Go Pack!

Refs effed up another good game. That was a totally bullsh!t call against the Boys. I like the
Pack but I'd really like to see an honestly reffed game, just once.

GO CHIEFS!
