Oregon made too many mistakes, and a few bad play calls. Those two drops in the 1st quarter killed them.
But credit to Ohio State, absent the turnovers, their offense was never really stopped by the Ducks D.

RJ, they weren't as soft as rhey were confused. They didn't look organized and, more
importantly, because they were playing 7 D backs at times they were hung out to dry
by the lack of linebackers when Elliot busted through. The OSU lines owned the line
of scrimmage; good old-fashioned smash mouth ball. That OSU QB is mediocre at best
so I hope he actually gets a degree.

College Football sucks because we don't see two good teams match up until the last game of the year.

These two should have played each other in September. But they were too busy playing schools like Ball State and Slippery Rock. And Army.

I agree that OSU was impressive in the win over Oregon, which I thought would win in a laugher victory for Oregon.

The real victory here: is the great football programs outside the South, which hopefully may be spared ESPN & other media touting the SEC as the dominant conference in the US, in the next football season.

Chaz: after a short search, I find that Oregon did play IAA South Dakota in an early game this fall. Otherwise, Oregon & OSU played major conference teams & OSU played Navy as a significant independent.

It's the SEC teams that play two or three small colleges to rest their players & pad their numbers.

Take the home teams - give the points.

Last time I checked, Seattle was favored by 7 1/2, and New England was giving 7.

I love those half-points, but I'd feel a little better if it were 6 1/2

Winner picks :
Seahawks over Packers , But I'd like to see the Pack win

Patriots over Colts.

The unsport conduct against Packers that just happened was an example of stupid football.Right in front of the official. Dumb

Got a question for those who like the Packers. There was something about Brett Favre that I didn't like. Not sure what. False humility perhaps. Did you like the guy?

So far it's the Seahawks offense that hasn't shown up.

Favre's personality was abrasive and he didn't smile very much in interviews, but he was Hall of Fame all the way. A top notch QB

Abrasive doesn't always bother me. When its put on like a suit of armor I don't like it. Like Rockjox glorifying it, but otherwise it doesn't really bother me. And I do agree he was a hall of fame quarterback.

Seahawks are really digging themselves a hole.

If the Hawk's offense keeps leaving the field early their defense, great as it is, is gonna start getting tired.

Buuuut, the Pic they just got might be the lift they need right now.
If Hawks offense can stay out on the field then we might have a game. Still a lot of football to be played

Seattle with 5 turnovers in the half so far.

Packers D really having a fine game, so far.

If you like the weather in Seattle, just wait a few minutes, because pretty soon it's going to suck.
