Very sad. Michael and I ran into him a few years ago in Tuloumne.
He climbed with us that afternoon.
He had no harness (but had a beer) so we swamied him up.

Any way to confirm this? Klaus, what was your source? I saw him a couple of years ago at the Leap. He seemed to be climbing reasonably well.

Just because you have not seen Chuck in a while does not mean he is dead.
He moved to Thailand last September.
Just before he left America; Chuck and I got a couple of roped climbs in. He was doing much better and we had a great time. I snuck a couple of pictures and a video of him climbing. His footwork still is amazing.
Where and what is the source of this news?
